The Utah array is plunged haphazardly into the brain. Capillaries, axons, etc, will get cut and chopped. But Neuralink places them next to axons (best signal) and avoids parts that would be damaged by just shoving something in there. Scar tissue and damage occurs with the Utah array. This is pretty important. Even for the benefit it can still do, consider what can be done with less damage.

The video is very interesting. I appreciate that the plan is to help people with severe neurological diseases like my husband, who received a DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) last year for his Parkinsons' disease at the University Clinic in Freiburg, Germany. It improves his ability to move during the day and walk normally. We are so thankful since our life is so much easier. And we can do many things together in our spare time. What is also important is the fact, that my husband can continue working. He is still pretty young (47). Concerning people who are "experimenting" with brain surgery on a level of curiosity, without being handicaped, I think it is morally not okay. But that's just my personal opinion.

Advances in biology will allow us to understand the mechanisms involved in presenting memory to the mind. Combining the two technologies will allow us to have the entire world's knowledge base at our disposal as if we were pulling up any other memories. For example, the Israelites were commended to something, sabbath IIRC, and moses told them that by doing so, "it is as if the Lord has placed a mark in your forehead or hand". So, as you can see here, the mark could just be something like allegiance. Also, if you look at the way the number is stated, 600, 60, and 6. To me, that looks like a degeneration... 600 60 6. One could say it is how mankind was previously seen as a divine creation with a divine purpose, compared to the modern understanding of man being an insignificant speck with no purpose. Anywho...

You forget the body looks the same after you die if you have not suffered some trauma like a bullet , knocked down by a truck etc. .It is so easy to think nothing has happened when you can’t see the change. X rays pass through you but just because you do not feel pain does not mean nothing has happened which is why dentists etc leave the room when they are taken.

I've been intrigued by the possibilities of Neuralink and its potential to revolutionize how we interact with technology. One thought that crossed my mind is whether Neuralink could potentially transfer information directly into the brain, essentially giving humans unlimited knowledge. Imagine the impact on students and education if we could instantly acquire knowledge and skills through Neuralink. No more hours spent studying textbooks or attending lectures. Additionally, could this technology enhance communication by allowing us to share thoughts and ideas directly from mind to mind? But let's not stop there. Consider the implications for the workforce across a wide range of careers. From medicine to engineering, law to art, could Neuralink streamline learning and enhance productivity in various fields? How might it reshape the way we approach professional development and skill acquisition? Do you think Neuralink has the capability to achieve such a feat? Could it pave the way for a future where we can instantly acquire knowledge and skills without the need for traditional learning methods? Let's discuss the possibilities and implications of this technology! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and insights!
