The Truth About Learning Euskera Outside of the Basque Country
If you know anything about Euskera, the Basque language, you've probably heard it's not the easiest to learn. But there are a surprising number of cheap or even free resources for you to teach yourself Euskera from anywhere in the world. In this video, I'm sharing with you the pros and cons I've experienced when it comes to studying Basque on my own.

I’ve been studying on my free time for a few months and if you ever need a buddy to practice with pick me 😂 none of my family speaks Euskara. So I’m kinda alone on this. I’m half basque and wanted to learn my native tongue.
Assimil for French speakers, Bakarka for French and Spanish speakers, 20 minutes every day routine and I am really happy with the progress after 2 years.
I read that the baque language exists since the stone age as humans had contact to neanderthals even! Its fascinating

The app called "Duolingo" has been trying to add the basque course for some years now, and has yet to add it. So, the people who wanted to learn it got into this server! The real problem in learning Basque is the different dialects of the language that sometimes makes it difficult to understand and even becomes unintelligible from one side of the Basque Country to the other, and also from valley to valley. the language variations of the Basque dialects like Lapurdian, Navarrese, xiberuan and Guiputzkoan have many differences among them written words like: Euskera, eskuara, euskara, uzkara and euskarbatua

That’s not a problem anymore because younger generations speak ‘euskara batua’ (unified Basque) as well as their ‘euskalki’ (dialect).
