The top two causes of kidney failure are number one, diabetes, and number two, high blood pressure. These are often preventable diseases or certainly manageable diseases. Other things like being dehydrated can cause kidney failure or receiving certain toxins from different types of medicines that are harmful. Those are all preventable.
Foods That Detox Kidneys
There are certain foods that can help detox your kidneys and promote their health. I'm going to point out some of these foods that I see as ingredients in a lot of these kidney detoxes and cleanses.
Lemons
Carrots
Bananas
Cilantro and Parsley
Oranges
Strawberries
Celery
Apples
Spinach and Kale
Berries
Honey
Seven Ways To Cleanse Your Kidneys and Promote Good Kidney Health
1. Drink Water
2. Low Sodium Diet
3. Maintain Normal Blood Pressure
4. Maintain a Healthy Body Weight

Board certified is what makes me doubt you. MD knows nothing about supplements, proper nutrition or TCM. This makes me question A LOT that you guys advise, bc board certified means nothing more than the fact that other MDs are paraqueeting the same exact story you preach. When you are looking at holistic stuff online it is simple, it is true, and kidney RECOVERY (possible even for those in CKD) doesn't behind in kidneys. The focus must begin on the liver. That means vegan food, FASTING (not in the morning, but at night, because no one needs to eat at night) and PROPER hydration, and by this I don't mean bottled water which is just plastic. I mean plasma - coconut water directly from fruit. Cabbage, dark green and red veggies, ACV and olive oil as the ONLY dressing, and berries. This should be the ONLY FOOD for at least three months to see a difference. Spinach, celery and kale should be steamed. Another reason why is cold food keeps fat on. Stop promoting smoothies. People are mixing vegetables with cow milk and that is completely wrong and disgusting. Key to healing kidneys is fix the liver first. What fixes liver first is fasting. Bananas are not safe for someone with CKD so it's best to eat and drink beets and garlic to lower blood pressure. Phosphorus containing foods must also be avoided. Anyway my stuff is on my website so I won't go into details. Smoothies should not be promoted and celery is not good for people with kidney problems. Look it up in TCM why

I'm selfish with my kidneys, I will not donate any, I love them both.I wouldn't give my car spear tyre away. That's how I view my kidneys. I eat to keep them healthy. I love looking at my annual lab work. If's like getting an A in my classes. I put the work in by eating healthy. . Labs don't lie. There is something called AMLA. It's Indian Gooseberry. I put one wiht real coconut water in the mornings and strain then drink. It's good for kidneys. The foods good for the kidneys are also good for the colon. They are rich in fiber.

About 48yrs ago as a young 22yr old, my left kidney was injured badly in a rugby 🏉 game, which put me in hospital for a few days. Luckily my kidney survived, but the Doctor advised that as I aged, my kidney would eventually fail! I've never Smoked, stopped drinking alcohol & coincidentally, I loved eating everything that Dr Frita has displayed on her kitchen table! Henceforth, as a new 70yr old, my kidneys are churning along happily! Thank you Dr for sharing your knowledge & videos. I've shared this video presentation with my family around the world, as I know how important your message is👌

Yes, I was one of those people who learned they had CKD just at the time when they wanted to put me on dialysis. My GFR was 17. I had diabetes uncontrolled, and high blood pressure, uncontrolled. They sent for training and asked me which type of dialysis I wanted to have. I said none. So I went on a quest to lower my blood sugar and blood pressure. I lost weight (40lbs). I got my A1c from 7.1 to 5.1 my GFR came up to 35. It still fluctuates a bit but have avoided dialysis for 2 years. I am so happy to discover you. I am hoping to get my blood pressure in tow which I have been unable to do. Thanks for your videos. Will keep you posted. I am developing a tremor. Hope the detox helps. Thanks.

Nice video! I want to add.. cilantro = strong blood cleanser and binds to heavy metals (you need a lot of it to make a significant difference) parsley = strong diuretic plus specific tonic for the kidneys + lots of calcium (root for the adrenals) apples = malic acid dissolves kidney and liver stones (but you need 1L of apple juice x 6 consecutive days) - I look at apples more for the bowels but i would do the apple juice if i thought i had stones.

Good Morning DR. Frieda. Often times we look at Doctors as just that; DRs. But, today I was so amused. Gregory enters in as a sweet quiet shy LIL guy and then gets so animated. I so enjoyed this Segment, DR, Frieda! 😁 We were able to see the "MOM" side of a Strong African American Woman and Mother. I laughed so hard when He said, " Just a Handful" and then grabs all of of the Spinach! And, your response was; "NO! YOU KNOW WHAT???!!!". " Now see, if I was in this Kitchen by myself...""You can go on back...go read a book or something! Love you too now go on!" I Laughed so hard when Gregory began his Antics😁🤣 (Amusing) I Love watching you since I found you searching for ways to live Healthier after being DX with CKD3 the end of last year. I may not always comment, but, I did subscribe when I watched my first Video and, I am so happy that I found your channel. I watch all of the time and have a notebook that I have named; DR. Frieda", taking notes with every Video and I watch several times over. I love Your Channel. Very Informative. I have learned many important facts😊. I certainly agree with the comment below mine. You are amazing DR. Frieda. Have a Wonderfully Blessed Day and God Bless You and Your Family. 😉💖
