🔥 Ozempic For Weight Loss: The Ultimate Holy Grail or a Risky Gamble? 🔥
I'm Dr. Frita, an MD who has been triple board certified and today we're going to discuss Ozempic for weight loss and other injections. Is it the ultimate holy grail or a risky gamble? Are celebrities and people living with obesity who use injections for weight loss just being lazy? Let's talk about it.
This video is intended to be informational only. It is not a medical consultation, nor is it personalized medical advice. For medical advice, please consult your physician.
**Note: In the Wegovy trial, the trial that studied Semaglutide specifically for weight loss, in one of the arms there were actually 1,961 patients who did not have diabetes.**

Now, you may be wondering whether these injections are the ultimate way to lose weight. And let's be honest, there's a lot of controversy surrounding injections like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Semaglutide. Some people think that celebrities and those living with obesity who use injections for weight loss are just being lazy. But is that really the case?
First off, let's talk about obesity. It's a serious medical condition that affects a lot of people. In fact, did you know that 70% of adults in the United States are either overweight or living with obesity? That's why it's important to find ways to tackle this issue. Obesity can lead to serious health problems like heart disease, strokes, diabetes, and even cancer. So, it's definitely not just about how you look.
In this video, I'm going to discuss the pros and cons of using Ozempic and other injections for weight loss. We'll take a deep dive into how Semaglutide or Ozempic works and what clinical trials have shown. But of course, we'll also discuss the potential risks, dangers, and complications of using these injections.
So, if you're curious about whether Ozempic and other weight loss injections could be right for you, stick around. I'm going to give you my own professional opinion on whether these injections are worth trying or if there are better options out there. So, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and let's chat about weight loss injections!

Glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching!
Dr. Frita. From the bottom of my heart “Thank you!!!” I am not trying to make this a racial thing but I must say this. Our people need you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have found that to keep my weight in check is to do a cleanse every few years, to flush all the toxins out of my body first, then I lose all the desire to eat junk food and my body actually desires healthy food but that's me and NOT overweight but sometimes get 20 pounds too heavy. When I slim down I feel better and can move around better and life is better in general.

Would you mind sharing what type of detox you use. Thank you
I talked to my doctor in great length about this and I we formulated a plan to do Wegovy short term to get me started on weight loss. I think long term I will modify my lifestyle and food intake and choices. That’s the ultimate goal 👍👍👍
I have been on Mounjaro for past three months, perscribed for my type2 Diabetes. My blood sugar has decreased but my weight loss has been also been significant. The price is very costly.
Thank you Dr. Frita, I can always count on you for sensible advice. My Nurse Practioner asked if I wanted to try Ozempic and I immediately said yes. I fit all of the categories: morbid obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disease and so on. Somehow, i received the medication right away and instantly felt buyer's remorse, I know longer wanted to do it. Well, I changed my mind again and I'm going to start giving myself the injections next Monday, I pray that I do well. 🙏 ❤

Good luck!
If you don’t have a life to live, you’ll not live your life to the fullest. Most folks don’t care about living. You need a reason to live!!! Most people feel they don’t. That’s the heart of the issue. “LIFE” check out most homeless people.

I agree
My doc took me off the other DM meds due to kidney issues. He put me on ozempic. It’s been about eight months and just recently my BS are finally in the normal range. I have lost ten pounds. Frankly, I lost much more weight quicker with Weight Watchers. The appetite depressant part was concerning for me but that has stabilized because I don’t eat out nearly as much because restaurant food is gross compared to my home cooking. It’s hasn’t been the quick fix that people think. You are telling it like it is. Also unfortunately it is very expensive.

When I did WW, I too lost weight, but I couldn't get past being hungry all-the-time. However, congratulations! on your success.

I agree. There’s no rapid weight loss. I’ve lost maybe 2lbs. Unfortunately I’m pre diabetic so I’m really trying to lose weight but no matter what i do i can’t drop these pounds. I am experiencing loss of appetite for sure. I wish i could work out. I’m disabled with limited mobility so I’d hoped this would help. I feel sick sometimes though…Like my sugar levels drop to fast. I’ve been on this about 6 months now. I went from .5 to 1 per week now. I’m not sure how some are saying they lost 30#s lol I wish i could…
Thank you for your simplicity in explaining the differences between both meds. EXCELLENT
The several ppl I know that are taking ozempic are absolutely not changing their diet or exercise behaviors.
Thank you dr for all that you do you are helping to take the lid off the companies that are greedy and eager to sell anything for a profit
The MLT Network listens to Dr. Frita....enjoy and pay attention!!!
Thanks again for another thought provoking and informative video. Take care.

You’re welcome! 😊 I appreciate you for watching!
So which one would you recommend
Dr. Frits actually broke down where I get visual idea of what I want to do.
Dr. I have CKD(FSGS/Nephrotic Syndrome), high BP, fatty liver, and high cholesterol... I'm not sure if I should take ozempic especially since it may affect my CKD stage 2. I'm thinking about Intermittent fasting and see how that works for me.🤞🏼 I'm all over the place though. I'm really glad I found your page. I will definitely check out your videos for more info regarding CKD. Thank you Dr.
Can you use the weight loss injections with kidney disease?
❤🌹Thank You!
What about Victoza?
Hello, it's been a while.
Really good information 👍🏾 I will definitely share. Thanks Dr. Fri 🫶🏾
🤔I use Ozempic for my diabetes and yes I need to shed a lot of adipose tissue.🙂 I have been on Ozempic for 6 weeks so far.... Plus I have other issues/concerns...OMG...etc. Health & Wellness to us ALL ‼🧸👍🏾😎😊
I was told that some anti-depressants also make a person lose the appetite and lose weight.
I'm going back to phentermine pills just for the first 20lbs lost. Ozempic is too expensive.
Insurance companies pay 1/3-1/2 price consumers pay in the USA. Nice Blue Government!?
she said primum non nocere
Ozempic caused my Diabetic Retinopathy!!!!! 🤬
Cute
