I cannot thank you enough for these videos that you bring to the public. Some of the information reinforce knowledge I already had, whilst some are novel and substantially help in my personal situation. While staying on the topic of the kidneys but touching on a slightly different aspect (than covered in this video), I wish to inquire of you about something: Protein in the urine. If protein in the urine is a symptom of kidney damage, how does a reduction in protein consumption protect the kidneys? Does too much protein help to damage the kidneys? For, with or without protein, wouldn't the damage still be there? Or is it a case where a drastic reduction of protein intake gives the kidneys time to heal?

A headache is the first sign of dehydration, so instead of grabbing some aspirin or ibuprofen, drink a glass of water and wait a few minutes. If the headache goes away, it was dehydration.

I had to laugh when Dr Frita talked about smoking. When I was a teen I decided I was going to start smoking so I was smoking in front of some of my friends. One of them said “you are doing that wrong you have to inhale”. Well I did and got so sick and dizzy I never picked up another cigarette. I thought to my self that anything that cost that much and made you feel so sick was not for me.

I would put cigarettes in my mouth walking home with friends from high school, but wouldn't dare inhale them. My friends would ask.....why are you smoking ( as if that was so out of character for me and uh uh Not you smoking. I thought you had better sense.)? I just wanted to look cool and feel I was free to do as I chose. I used to answer . ... Because I want to and I can do what I want. They would tell me smoking isn't cool. Tried to make it look as if the smoke was coming from my mouth instead of the end of the cigarette. I'm glad they never realized I was faking it. But really wouldn't have cared if they had. I still wouldn't have inhaled it.

Dr. Frita and I both want to caution against the smoking of cigarettes from North Carolina. While Andy and Barnie were a couple of positives to come out of the state, for over 300 years, NC has been a major exporter of death around the globe.

I like the way Dr. Frita explain each bad habit and break in down in simple terms for people to understand what the damage is and how it can be prevented. Our primary physicians tell us but they do not explain like Dr. Frita. I hope that anyone who watched this video please take the information serious you will prevent a very unpleassant life long sickness upon yourself.

For the last few years I have been blessed (NOT) with UTI. Most recently I had two. The first one I was able to contain with over counter medication. Did not work. Reappeared about a week and a half ago. Dr. put me on antiobiotics. Few days later I had my 6 month checkup scheduled anyway and we discussed this issue. He is concerned because the urine sample did not show any infection but I definitely had blood in both UTI's. I had a cat scan yesterday. Today I am having dull pain lower right side of my back. Comes very quickly and sharply (dull pain). I have always been water drinker, so this is bothersome to me. I do have high blood pressure and I am on medication. Anxious to see results of my cat scan. I know few years ago for another test, part of the results indicated renal cysts on my right side. Sure hope I do not need surgery! I am liking my retirement but know I need to take care of myself. I urge all women to take care of themselves, annual pap smear, mammogram, etc. I am writing this in hopes someone realizes the need to talk openly to your physician about any medical issues one has. Thank you for your videos!

I got 10 years alcohol free. I add no salt to my table food. I don’t touch any pain medicine but I do use aspirin caffeine & ephedrine as a pre workout stimulate. I take lots of vitamins. I drink 40-55+ ounces water post workout. I walk 4-5 miles before weights. Or 100-110 mins. Basically 6 days a week. The 7th day Saturday is a 45-55 min walk. 3+ miles. My BP fluctuates but mostly 120/80 I’m 50.
