Today we're going to talk about controlling high blood pressure, 10 high sodium foods to avoid. Now, when I ask most of my patients if they have a high salt diet, they usually say, "No, I hardly even add salt to my food." But what most people don't know is that most of the salt that we eat comes from pre-packaged foods and from restaurants.

The worst things someone can do to their body is to cut on salt and drink more water. Eat as much as you want, but only sea salt or himalayan salt. Sodium has nothing, nothing, to do with high blood pressure or heart problems.

My blood pressure is coming down from 220/100 to 150/ 87, body weight dropped from 98 kilograms to 76, cases to bathroom at night dropped from 8 to 2 trips. Salt is in everything that comes in a can, bottle, or wrapper of any kind. Stay away from convenience foods that are microwavable and can be prepared in just a few mins. Buy fresh or frozen fruits and veggies, learn to use herbs to flavor meals instead of using salty seasonings etc.

Excellent and informative video. Now, please upload a video on how to eat the lowest amount of salt eating similar foods. I need to put into practice (for single people) on the go who need to avoid unwanted salt in our diets. How can I do that? Our food industry is based on giving us what we want, but they know darn well they're killing us. I need to escape this narrative to live a healthy long life through smarter eating choices. Men don't know how to properly create "meal plans" that will save our lives that will keep us alive and well for our families. Please show me HOW to do this! Saying no is one thing, but YES to what..... Thank you.

I thought putting turkey in my greens was a healthy option not realizing how much sodium I've been consuming. I've given up the bread so at least that's a positive. 👍🏼 Would you please consider doing a video on "Seasonings?" I have a feeling that my " healthy " cooking might not be as healthy as I thought.
