I think that's what's so funny about him, it's the sort of stuff you can imagine & relate to, makes it so much easier to picture & laugh at. Billy Connolly is good at this too. Probs the two best comedians I can think of. Shite just realised I'm bigging another comedian up on Peter (classic) Kay's feed.....sorry Peter lol...

I can barely understand this dude. I'm getting about 60% of this. Haha

I never noticed until now that in the North they do what the Japanese do; instead of saying "a bucket" or "a thing" it's always just "bucket" or "thing". Just to be clear, I'm not being snooty, in fact I think it's bloody genius and gradually helps to save time during conversations. Now we just need someone from the North to create a decent multi-pronoun akin to Japan's "です" (or "Desu") and they'll soon have the most efficient form of English the world has ever seen.
