@@dhpbear2 I was in that younger set, 12 when Caddyshack came out. I saw it on HBO. Great movie, I think he's the funniest guy ever!

Johnny is simply in awe of this comic great.
DAMN-Rodney just got better as he got older!!!!!!!!!!!
What a crowd , what a crowd , what a great awesome entertainer , Rodney is the best
There will never be another Carson or Dangerfield. The best of times are over.
This was about the funniest thing I’ve ever seen Rodney was a genius
Rodney was a great comedian.
Rodney always captivated you with his hilarious “Sad Sack” stories. And how he handled the jokes that got silence - with his reaction & expressions, only delayed the laughter. How I miss his energy !
He puts his pocket hanky away in the back, then pulls out another one lol
Pure comedy. He's the king
Love this guy, he is an all-time great.
the best, both of them at the top of their game.
"I was an ugly kid; my father took me to the zoo. They thanked him for bringing me back! Oh, I was a fat kid too. One time, my old man took me to the beach. A bunch of scientists kept trying to push me back into the ocean.
Only good thing about getting older is you can still roar at Rodney because you’ve forgotten some of his routine ! No one was better !
The monologue doesn't end when he sits down with Johnny.
He was one of a kind
I really don’t care about swearing except I believe most comedians are way funnier when they don’t swear. That routine was easily in the top all time ten
Much funnier than comics today. And cleaner
Oh god he's hilarious 😂
Note to self: Don't be drinking water while listening to Rodney. Now I have a mess to clean up.

Classic and unique. The talents of today can only hope to be half this funny.
"If I gave you money to buy booze, you'd go out and buy food instead." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He should have been on Carson's very last show, just for one more little 5-minute bit.
Legends and Legendary stuff
One of his best appearances.

Funniest part of that movie is when he's telling the bartender how he dresses up his nephew as a girl and plays with him, LoL!
Hope I live long enough to see this kind of stuff come back around one more time in the cycle. The timing of the Expressions on one bone less are incredible

Rodney is a LEGEND...and I miss him so much.
I think that is Bernadette Peters sitting there. What a total babe and she still looks great 30 years later.
Rodney was batting a thousand this night!!
I once dated a fast food worker who could make a Big Boy in three minutes or a Boy Big in two minutes!
He was a classic. Just like Don Rickles. Another classic.
The absolute best Dangerfield/Carson clip ever!!!!!
Loved this comedian sooo much. I wonder how he used to sweat when performing… probably from some heart problems. But hey! I’m no doctor. May he rest in eternal peace 🌹❤️
His whole shtick went against taboos: “never let them see you sweat” and “ don’t telegraph nervousness!” LOVE IT!!! A laugh riot! Thanks for the clip!
He's hilarious 😂
One of a kind. Superb always
Legendary performance, one of Rodneys best.
Rodney was one of THE very best.
I always liked how Carson was so good at feeding Rodney straight lines. It was like two old time vaudeville comedians working. A lost art.
I can’t understand how I can hear these jokes over & over again, and Rodney STILL cracks me up!!
The man who had the great gift of making people laugh rip Rodney
The last joke when he cried was so funny. It’s lonely on top when there’s no one on the bottom !
I haven't seen this one before. It's tough to see a grown man cry.

what did he say? I couldn't make it out through his crying act... "every day. every night... I gotta...?"
Rodney is the man. 😎
So fun listening to them.
I’m in tears😂
You *really* have to be funny to get Johnny to crack up!
The drugs kicked in that night and who the hell cut his hair? Legendary comedy all the time, so quick with the quip, great timing!
Classic!!
What a Pro Gotta Love Rodney
Rodney was the best of the best.
TOTAL RESPECT. R.I.P.
Pure genius on both parts.
Pure awesomeness...👍🏽😂
very simply, he was the best, ever.. with a style all his own
Pure Class ! Rodney may have not invented comedy but he earned the crown. I laugh so hard listning to him I hurt in my sides. I have to think what more he would have brought to us if he would have lived on longer. RIP Rodney
I went a nude beach and they told me to park in a handicap spot 🤣😂
I've watched that many times. I believe he had an emotional event of some kind there. He barely pulled himself out of it.
I saw the great Rodney in Vegas and you dare not laugh or you missed 3 jokes. He was a true professional, ALWAYS perfect delivery
He is the only one who can keep Carson laughing.
This was when late night TV was funny!

When he first heard about Viagra, he asked around if people had heard about it, which they had, then he tried a joke at a club, and booked himself on the Tonight Show the next day before it could be stolen. "My doctor put me on a Viagra and prune juice diet. Now I come and go at the same time."
“I’ll tell ya. I’ll tell ya, I’m alright now but last week I was in rough shape.”
"No...not yet". 🤣
There is and was one only like Rodney!
8:16...Of Pure Laughs..RIP..Rodney
Could you imagine a show with him and Don Rickles one after the other! OMG the audience would probably still be laughing
LOVE THIS KEEP IT UP BILL
