The TERRIFYING Final Moments of Rule Breaking Climber Zach Milligan

Ойын-сауық

Sometimes you just know you’re born to do something - and you’ll break whatever rules you need to in order to do it. Zach Milligan was a daredevil who broke the rules of mountain climbing, completing some pretty wild, hair raising stunts, as you’re about to see.
Zach went against the grain in everything he did - until the day of his terrifying final moments.
From when he got his calling to climb at the age of 18 to living in a series of caves for 13 years, his raw drive and passion helped him become a world class climber and incredible alpine skier.
But it would also be what took his life.

One of my favorite parts about Zach's story (besides the crazy Half Dome skiing) was when he first decided to start climbing. I guess you never know when going to get your hair cut will change your life. RIP, Zach.

Idk why I watch this stuff. I guess these are my heroes? I'm not a climber, barely a ski-er. I think this stuff just amazes me that people aren't terrified of things like this or push passed it? It definitely blows my mind ! God bless him and watch over all who feel the need to do such incredible things ! ❤ 🙏

Yeah, that is how I feel. Zach and those like him have a special soul and I honor them and am impressed by them. I have too much fear to do the extreme things they do and someone might say that is smart, and while I agree, I also recognize some people are just made different and he definitely had a calling in his soul to do this extreme and dangerous climbing. I hope his girlfriend and family can find peace, it has to be tough to love someone like this knowing each day they might not return from their latest adventure.

I dunno what personality trait causes folks to skate the edge of death repeatedly. In order to feel alive they must challenge death? No thanks for me. I love to hike. Been to Yosemite many times. It never inspired me to climb the sheer face of Half-dome. Not even on the guided path with cables. Nope. But like the narrator said, ‘keep knocking on death’s door and it’ll answer’. Inviting your dumbass to experience Darwin in action, falling…….aaaaaahhhhh! Shhhh-mack.

Ironic that I think stupidity alignes with signing up for military service to fight and kill for private corporate interests which is what most war is. As for EMT's , plenty of mentally unfit humans employed in that field for the wrong reasons.

Hardworking individual? The Mfer got fired for being late to work and drinking on the job 🤣 I’d hardly call that “hardworking”. He wasn’t smart either, like his sister said. If he was, he wouldn’t be dead right now, not from falling off of an ice mountain Atleast. Nobody smart is going to do that shit, especially with no ropes or any real safety gear. Thank god we don’t have to worry about him anymore. Not sorry at all for what happened to him and don’t feel sorry at all for his family. Mountain climbing is one thing but doing it with no safety gear is just moronic and no matter how good you THINK you are, it only takes one mistake and you’re dead. Doesn’t even have to be a mistake you made. Idk why people feel the need to risk their life for something that literally does nothing to help you out in life or improve your life in any way.

I feel like if you're not using safety gear it's free soloing. It's probably impossible to climb ice without cramp ons and ice axe because your feet and hands would just slide off of the ice there's no way you could do it.

omg this video was very exhausting to finish. The AI voice is not as bad as the script. The dialogue was so unnecessarily long with unimportant details and too many adjectives or pectic description of every single thing. The script is so clunky and repetitive. I skipped so many times just to hear the same statements like " these mountains are great but dangerous blah blah blah" ugghhh we get it, just get to the point already! skip to 21:34 to find out what happened. the stories are interesting but your script is just so boring (Idk if you're trying to maximize the length of the video) and this particular AI voice doesn't help lol, maybe find someone who can help you write a concise script, I think it will help your channel

    1. This isn't ai 2. Just because pics of Zack in equipment are the ones shown, doesn't mean he didn't also free solo 3. The 'free' in ice climbing obviously means unroped, it would be impossible to climb without this picks and crampons. We all know this, so stop being obtuse people!
