there's a lever on the column to the left when you are shot off the fan, I wonder what that does

it disable the fan temporarily. this is usefull incase you want to land but both fans are active.

You can skip the whole thing by jump in to the room with the lever

There's a big roof covering it. You can't get in without the keys to unlock it.

@@MultiVicioso there is no "right angle" to pass through a roof that completely covers the entire area. There aren't any little gaps that you can hit just right. The roof overlaps the open area underneath. Maybe you're just remembering it wrong, but it's not possible.

Yes, you can. I did it the "right angle" way not more than a month ago.

@@nestorcanteros5329 must have been on an older update then as the current update as of Dec 2023 it can't be done. Like I said already.
