Very cool method! Solved this completely differently.

same here, my solution was much more complicated (had to re-wind and balance twice on the walls, first with a *_jammer_* and second time with a *_connector_* - didn't think about putting the connector that far away on *_that cliff,_* completing the whole thing in one step, heh!). did also learn that you can re-map a *_fast forward key_* to decrease the time it takes to wind up - let's say eg. 2 minutes... (around 2x faster speed) edit: ok, it seems to be completed in 3 steps, just like what i would have done..but still very smooth - or was this done in only 2 steps, nice! actually just came here because the sign at the beginning says that there should be 2 stars in this *_'press and jam'-puzzle_* - but, i got it now (it's just that the sign there represents two maps at once - so, only 1 star in each)

I managed to get a box, two jammers, and two laser diodes on the cliff-face of the upper island, then used the jammers to simplify the Press and Jam puzzle, and used the red connection + recorder to aim it at the above connectors, then linked it that way from the upper island.

this puzzle was yet again not too hard, not too easy. You just gotta think outside the box and literally take objects out the map
