The Swan River is FIRING - Perth Tailor from the Kayak at CANNING BRIDGE!
TAILOR FISHING AT CANNING BRIDGE - After an embarrassing loss on my last trip there, I return to Canning Bridge to settle the score! Armed with my new kayak and my best lures, I set out to bag a couple of fish.
However, I wasn't prepared for what happened next! A school of tailor was holding near the bridge, and what came next was a barrage of hits, double hookups and good times! Check it out!

Cheers mate! It's a Bay Sports Pedal Pro Fish XL (4m). Great kayak. Only problem is it's a lot to lug around. Doesn't bother me as much when I have a session like that though 😅👍

Hi mate thanks for watching! Nah the squid were from the previous session at Freo. Yet to catch a squid in the river, although I have heard of it happening 🦑😁

@@dfjmadventures no worries.Great video! Yeah same here but have heard they are there! Maybe on a blue moon? Dunno. Anyway will be cranking the double clutch myself soon close to narrows; landed a 48cm there not long ago on the double

@edtftslothx Yeah squid would probably be in there somewhere! As for the Double Clutch - it's irresistible for Swan River Tailor! I recently got a few bigger versions - gonna try them out (bigger lure, bigger fish...?). 48cm is a decent size for the river! Haven't caught one that big in the Swan yet! Might see you out there! 😁👍🎣💪🐟

Cheers mate! Both lures were Daiwa Double Clutches - the red one was the 95mm version and the colour is called Lazer Red. They're available from most tackle stores (BCF/Anaconda etc), but I found the greatest selection near me was at Tackle West in Beckenham. Thanks again!
I think I seen you today. Did you unhook someone’s lure off a pylon and get a mussel lure with it?
