Richard & Andy are joined by Peter Reid, who looks back on his playing days under Howard Kendall at Everton, and his hugely successful time at Sunderland that ultimately ended after a boardroom disagreement. Reid says the club is still struggling to overcome that fateful decision.

Fantastic years with Reidy at Sunderland but towards the end his signings were shocking; Flo £9m, Nunez £2.6m (played 30mins) Medina £3.5m (never played) Laslandes £3.6m (never scored).... to say that his time ended because they extended the stadium for 6k is nonsense. He was lucky to keep his job when they finished 4th bottom and got sacked the following season. To then suggest that 20 years later Sunderland are in the third tier because of extending the stadium is ridiculous. Sunderland spent 10 consecutive seasons in the Premier League but wasted a fortune by buying badly and the owner lost interest before two amateurs bought them on the cheap and now they are stuck in the third tier with a salary cap.
Richard and Andy thank you for such a great programs through the years .. Chris wilder episode was fantastic and you continue to send us enjoyment with peter today thank you lads 💙

Reid and Gray have both achieved something, both brilliant brilliant footballers. Keys? He's a nobody. Is Reidy on the piss 24/7 these days? Always looks pissed whenever I see him.
