I know Blades fans don't want to hear this but I think it's a matter of time before he is going to be approached by a bigger club. Despite having spent most of his managerial career in the lower leagues, his list of accomplishments is really impressive, and given what he's done this season, with what was essentially a League One/Championship squad, it really would come as no surprise. But he might choose to stay loyal to his boyhood club. Doesn't look like the type of guy who would be swayed by large amounts of money, and his team is pretty much on course to securing European football anyway.

I think Sir Chris would only leave us for Liverpool...If Klopp did leave I cant see Liverpool thinking Sir Chris should take over, at least i hope not. Lets hope Klopp stays at Liverpool for another ten years and Sir Chris stays at Lane just as long!

With how well we're doing, why would he want to? Eventually, yeah, we might stop making progress, but for now we continue to improve, continue to have more money each year to play with, and continue to surprise. I don't see why he'd want to go anywhere else rn.

Richard Keys- there is more than one United! Sheff United fans refer to ourselves as united so if you’re interviewing someone who is involved with a club called United, other than the Manchester one, please refer to man united with the Manchester prefix! Just saying like.

The vast majority of Sheffield United fans are Labour voters. Every area of Sheffield with a majority of Blades elects Labour councillors and votes Labour (comparing the number of United season ticket holders in each constituency with Wednesday season ticket holders). The Conservative party stand directly against the core values of Sheffield United (which are supported and encouraged by Labour), which are - being a strong community force, supporting the workers of Sheffield, giving working people in sheffield a shared location to enjoy sport in an environment where they feel represented by the club on the pitch and in the back room. Sheffield Wednesday and their ethos is much more closely aligned with the Conservative party. Wedensday's ethos - be an example in the community of what can be achieved when spending money is encouraged and foreign influence is seen as a way to make Sheffield more cosmopolitan and open. Its not the clubs job to make the local community feel supported or represented by the club, players or staff. Instead the club should aim to be an aspirational example of a modern outward looking showcase of the benefits of combining lavish spending with foreign integration at all levels.

Blades only say the "South Barnsley" comment because they're bitter that there's no area in Sheffield where they have 70%+ of the fans. So wave off the half of the city north of Kelham Island as Barnsley. Bitter that in their "strongholds" there are still 40%+ Wednesday.
