Fun fact: The guitar solo was recorded by a young Sherm McAleavey who filled in as a session guitarist during recording, after the regular guitarist stepped on his acoustic guitar and got it stuck around his ankle.

Sherm McAleavy got a LOT uncredited works during this time. Not sure what the deal was with that, but I'm told that he did ALL the guitar work for Bo Chapman's album "Roadkill Grill". Look on the album - NO mention of the guitarist.
The way the music drops out at "DAD! WHAT THE F___! WHAT THE F___! OH MY GOD! HOLY S___! JESUS CHRIST! EW!" is simply brilliant
I remember when my grandpa first gave me an old vinyl record of The Best of the Sticky Sweethearts when they first went gold of their debut singe "I Glued my Balls to my Butthole Again" after they performed live in Chicago in 1954. He told me he had been a fan of theirs ever since they began as a group of disparate blues and rock musicians who had been let go from different bands, and though several sordid incidents of varying accounts, began playing in all the blues and dive bars across Chicago's south side. He told me their lead vocalist, Tommy Wilcott, got the idea for "I Glued my Balls to my Butthole Again" from his reportedly very kinky fetish for glue with all the women he used to sleep with. I mean, that's what my grandpa heard. I miss him. ❤❤❤
I showed the original song to my cousin and they didn't understand it was ai. I'm stuck between feeling both proud of just how convincing you made these songs sound, but also deeply ashamed of my cousin for thinking The Sticky Sweethearts were a genuine boppin humdinger from the early 60's.

I remember when we were humping through the boonies in Nam when we ran into a VC ambush. We were surrounded. This song held our spirits up under enemy fire until we were rescued.

My grandparents use to say this song was how they met. It was playing at a local bar in the 60’s. My grandfather said he’d never seen a woman dance like that before, and wouldn’t you know it, it was settled and 40 years later here I am.

While the development from fartcore to shartcore can be located relatively clearly and odour-focused, the Stickys have always done their own thing. In the 60s and 70s, there were even wild conspiracy theories that the Sticky Sweethearts came from the future, because that was the only explanation for their fame. Fortunately, we know better today, because their unhappy relationship with glue, coupled with lovesickness, heartache and erectile adventures, makes the Stickys a colourful mixture, a rainbow of smells and sounds that will remain unforgotten forever.

The timing is too convenient from when she dated the drummer of the Sticky Sweethearts.
