The Steve Allen Show NBC April 5, 1959 - Guests: The Three Stooges Lenny Bruce [FULL EPISODE]

Ойын-сауық

The Three Stooges made a few appearances on Steve Allen's show - and although there are multiple clips (some much better!) of this appearance on KZread, here is the full episode as aired on NBC - complete with commercials for Dupont Nylon Tires and RCA Victor Stereophonic sound.
Aired on April 5, 1959 - this is an Internet Archive special, so I have no idea of the source, except that it is obviously a poor videotaped copy.
In the show are Connie Russell, Tom Poston, Louis Nye, Don Knotts, Gene Rayburn, comedian Lenny Bruce, and The Three Stooges: Moe Howard, Joe DeRita and Larry Fine.

Lenny Bruce's appearance on the Steve Allen show was brilliantly recreated on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Larry Fine bought a favorite Jazz club of mine as a business investment for The Three Stooges 'The Money Tree on Riverside Dr. in LA's Toluca Lake & Steve Allen here introduced me as a young boy to the sound of Tasty Jazz & Standards & all these great musicians in His Show Band gigged at the many LA Jazz dives I frequented for decades 'So watching these classic shows for me is Like a Reunion of sorts 'Literally!!

Sir: The computer program Oldify could help the quality of such films as this considerably. It can stabilize, clean and clarify video, upscaling and sharpening the picture, even using motion interpolation to restore 90% of the original video frame rate. Look into it.

If you mean "De-Oldify", yup I have and haven't had the time for the whole GitHub thang, honestly. I prefer spending time editing and roughly color correcting in Avid Media Composer than currently getting up to speed with yet another app - especially with GitHub. Thank you for the heads up - and when the time is right, I'll GitHub over and work it. Other channels specialize in that, and I will take your advice. Thank you!!!!
