There are ads, then there is this. This did not feel like an ad at all. It reminded me of the time when i was a kid and fanboyed hard over the supra. good job toyota and people who made this ad!

This series is the best thing to happen to the internet. So many pieces of gold in this. Huge congrats to the whole team involved in the creative and production and to Toyota USA for being open to letting some creative geniuses do their thing! 🙌🙌

Whoever’s been writing these commercials has done a great job capturing the pure essence of excitement that comes with driving these cars. Wonderful job Toyota! I love my GR86 but this makes me want to get a GR Corolla too 😅.

-It's either four wheels, or no wheels. Period. -We're going no wheels Also, loved that throwback to the old "Broken down Corolla" reference!

love the shoot, love the car.... do NOT love dealers marking this up 5-10k over MSRP. if Toyota recommends a retail price... why can't dealers just sell it at that. dealers are going to be sitting on 2023 models next year when the 2024 model comes out. i was really looking to owning one of these, but for close to $50,000 after markup, it just doesn't make sense.

This was awesome! So creative from the team that does these adds. I just watched the "The Focus Group" for the GR86 again the other night. It still gives me goosebumps when the GR Corolla starts up at the end!

I love how Toyota still cares about the customer, we got an AWD 300hp hot hatch rally car, with a 6 speed manual transmission, 3rd pedal and everything! As a 16 year old car enthusiast, I love this, in a few years I'll be able to buy one of these off the used market, and it will be the best purchase I've ever made probably

@@insid3493 I wish I could, the car is on an auto show's floor. It's the only GR Corolla in the event, so there are no test drive units and even if there are, I doubt I could drive one since I definitely can't afford one. I've never driven a performance car, not even an 86.

That was one of the best commercials I have ever seen. Nicely done indeed. The action, acting, the setup and the locations are superb. The stunts performed by Frederick Aasbo and Ryan Tuerck was undoubtedly fantastic. The reliability touch with the old Corolla was a cherry on the top of the cream. Awesome work.🤩💯🤝

Not goanna lie, this commercial makes me want to collect one of each GR! Loved the 70's Corolla cameo too!

Subtle Palm Springs reference there. As a local we have so many car enthusiasts here. Great dealerships, race track, lots of special cars from classics to exotics, american, imports and more just driving around.

I thoroughly appreciate how Toyota is making commercials this silly for enthusiast. It shows they care in a world of increasingly boring cars. Though enthusiasts are the minority now I feel like commercials like this have to spark something in "normal" people.

In our high school days, one of my classmates, who has now become a highly successful CEO here in the US, had a penchant for exhilarating driving maneuvers, including executing controlled donuts and engaging in various forms of daring driving with his father's car. It was our little secret, and we never let his dad in on the excitement. : ) BTW, this is one of the best car commercials I have ever seen. It makes me want to go out and drive. Great job!!!

The end reminded me of watching the Hot Wheels Show down in Brazil. They were jumping the cars turning up on two wheels and all sorts of things insurance wouldn't cover in the US. It was incredible.
