When using a hole saw , predrill the pilot hole without the hole saw attached. You'll have much more control of the hole saw when it first makes contact with the surface.

Have you considered getting a set of motorcycle LED headlight units for it, B is for Build style? They appear to be of identical size (plus you're experienced with 3D printed housings) and would fit awesome on the cyberpunk-esque design!

i imagine even the drop in halo units for miatas/jeeps would fit in too, those old britboxes tend to use the same generic 7" headlights

Fabricateverything, tear it all apart, then paint. Put it all back together. That way you don't mess up finishes on parts.

For a blended and nice finish on that air cleaner cover, id of sanded the fins to run parallel with your built official badge and then polished them, even just leaving the 1500 grit wet and dry scratch marks for that "brushed" effect

Really cool man this is really coming together. I was thinking, you could maybe even make that air cleaner more stealth by hollowing out an oval filter and gluing it onto the upper plate. Or even 3d print or fiberglass a filler. Keep it up!

You don't need to have a KZread channel to be able to do shit. I filmed a heap of stuff, edited it, uploaded it, nobody watched it. Took it down. Not worth it unless you've got 3 or 4 years to build a channel. But I build race cars in my spare time in my garage that are fairly consistently on the podium. But because I'm not JZ swapping a wheel standing Jeep Cherokee, nobody gives a shit.

@@1one3_Racing honestly that’s amazing and be happy about what you do and who cares what others think. I agree you don’t need a channel. But it’s not easy as you know to make videos and edit and get stuff done. Simply said a lot of stuff on camera is missed or finalized after filming.

Real Aerocatches come with a template. Fake eBay ones don't. So these are pretty prone to failure at high speed when they get old so the hood will get messed up anyway. Won't see the dents and scratches from the drill.

I just don't get why you painted it before the bodywork was finished... seems like you cut a lot of corners lately and that makes me a bit sad... These headlight rings looks terrible, its 100% bodge there... the new grill - not much better. You have put lot of effort to take the build halfway and now you ruins it - not by your ideas, but by their rushed execution... Sorry for these words, still a fan though...
