I think sealing your concrete is an overlooked thing. I moved into a house where it was done and it makes a huge difference for clean up.

I spilt a 5 gallon bucket of old oil in my garage, I tried cleaning it so much. I got most of it up, but you can still see the stain. Ghost shield looks amazing. Also the pallet rack mezzanine is such a great idea. Great job brother.

Looking good brother. I'd still recommend a white epoxy or paint on the concrete just in case you drop something small; a light, homogenous color makes it really easy to find 👍

Brackets on the top and bottom would have gone a long way to make the light fixture sturdier, but it still turned out so sick!

Still might need some side wall lights to make it even brighter inside your shop.

Turn on, maybe just keep a thought in your mind that you might need some spray on insulation because when it becomes winter time that feeling it’s going to sweat off the drip water on you are you are are in there working I only say that because in my shop working, we didn’t have insulation on the ceiling and I was trying to paint a car and I didn’t realize that the ceiling was gonna sweat and sure enough water droplets were dropping on my car as I was painting it

Congrats with your new location with the view and your very own custom shop. The driveway you got is probably the worst part but I'm guessing the new house and everything else makes up for it.

The light setup is sick, and a little porch on top would be a cool idea. Something as simple as adding a window would also be pretty cool, just my thoughts

My new shop has 14' walls so I can make an area like that... probably use under side for tool boxes and cabinets.

How cold does it get in your area during winter? I think I would build at one side living space and move in (second floor), with ceiling windows for natural light etc, i would install water and heating by my self as its my side hobby for living) but it really would depend on winter temperatures, that free space takes a Lot of heat😂

I sure hope you go back and add joist hangers to that floor you built. Just relying on screws are why so many decks fail every year...
