“The rise of YouTuber fights, is a REAL concern for boxing” 🥊 Carl Frampton | Up Front

This is Up Front with Simon Jordan. A show brought to you by William Hill that pulls no punches and tells it EXACTLY like it is.
On this week’s show we have a boxer who lit up his sport, in divisions that don’t always get the attention they deserve. Rising from the streets of Tiger's Bay, Belfast, Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton would go on to become a two weight world champion, bringing a noisy and partisan crowd with him no matter the venue.
Carl joins the show to discuss his action packed career, and his feud with the McGuigans, whilst also giving his unique perspective on the current boxing landscape ahead of KSI and Tommy Fury’s showdown.

Chris Snr wouldn't be a proper conversation, as we've seen in his last few interviews. Nigel Benn would be a good one. His life outside of the boxing ring was pretty insane and to live that life whilst being a professional boxer at the same time is something I'd be keen to hear in depth.

I find it terribly frustrating how Simon cuts off the subject of the interview, mid-answer. He does it on TalkSport and he does it on Up Front and it’s just rude.

Usyk is very, very good at fighting long, also fighting long opponents because he moves with the shots so it seems to add length and with Fury being more planted these days and trying to cut the ring off I think Usyk with be able to outbox him. He’s not going to be planted on the outside and just eat jabs like almost everyone of his past opponents. Fury’s never fought someone like Usyk but Usyk has dealt with people like Fury. Also Furys body shots are below an amateur level, watch the back hand, lead hand at the waist body shots he hit Whyte with and tell me that, that’s a competent body puncher.
