Very happy to see this, as the R1S only got a Marginal in this test. The rating only applies to 2024 versions of the R1T, which likely means that Rivian made recent improvements in order to earn the Good. Hopefully, they are able to make these improvements on the R1S soon too.

How do you think the Rivian R1T would do in the updated moderate overlap?

Who is 2024 buys a Dodge Ram? Not reliable, not a good value, poor build quality, boring, basic, poorly performing active safety features that are optional (even a Toyota corolla comes standard with forward collision warning that actually works). The person who buys one of these cars screams to me that they did absolutely zero homework and know literally nothing about cars at all. lol

I think most people who buy Rams nowadays either had one before or their dad or grandpa had one before. I’ve sworn to never own a Chrysler product myself.

I mean, if you watched the whole video, the whole sector is about the same. And it scored Good on all but rear occupant moderate overlap.
