My first season I kept up with as a Chelsea fan, so magical

As a United fan, this season was personally crippling … but watching the drama between the other teams lent a classic touch to that season.

As a United fan obviously this season wasn’t great for us but it was still my favourite season from my childhood in terms of the other clubs, so entertaining

This was a great video concept.

There was a season where Arsenal went into December leading but mid January they were fighting for top 4. Few of the games they played in December included a losses in a row if not all December matches that included fixtures against Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man U.

As a Hull fan this season was especially wild, almost winning the FA Cup and simultaneously almost getting relegated was crazy

Wengerball definitely deserved a praise in the random bits part. That wilshere goal vs Norwich and rosicky goal vs Sunderland🤩

For me, this is the best ever title race simply because there were 4 teams genuinely involved at certain points. You had Arsenal who were top for most of the first half of the season and indeed spent the most days at the top of the table out of any other club that season. But they did their usual Arsenal February collapse and then Chelsea were the next team to establish themselves. They beat City 1-0 in a famous game at the Etihad, becoming the first team to win there in the league that season and also keep a clean sheet there. Chelsea held top spot for a number of weeks, but their attack started to sputter (in fairness, they had Torres, Eto'o and Ba as strikers). They suffered bad losses to Aston Villa and Palace before losing to Sunderland and breaking Mourinho's unbeating home league record at Stamford Bridge (78 games). This opened the door for Liverpool's, who led by their devastating attacking trio of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling won 11 games in a row, including a memorable 3-2 win against City at Anfield and took top spot. But then the famous Stevie G slip happend against Chelsea and the following week, they collapsed against Crystal Palace. And finally, we have City who had been lurking around all that time because they always had games in hand so it was difficult to get a true reflection of their league position. And even though they had a few stumbles at the end (drawing with Sunderland at the Etihad and losing to Liverpool at Anfield), they won their last 4 games and Chelsea and Liverpool's slip ups meant they secured the titile. Incredible season, with perhaps the greatest individual display of all time by an attacking player (Suarez).

The thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that Liverpool played crazy vs Palace because they wanted to chase this goal difference against the City. Everyone was talking about it at the moment. Yet they hugely underestimated their opponent and as a result we have what we have. Although this match would have been more significant if City lost some points in their 3 last games. So as it stands the title was lost in the match vs Chelsea.

Bro cmon give some more context. The title was in citys hands after the Liverpool Chelsea game as they had a +8 goal difference. Liverpool then started going for goals against palace as they needed to make these goals up and then it crumbled. Also would have been nice to see the exact table going into the city Liverpool game

Liverpool's game against Palace was ultimately inconsequential, as it was out of their hands by that point. Going into that game, Liverpool and City were even on points, but City had a far superior goal difference, so City would have to lose or draw one of their games for Liverpool to win, which they didn't, so even if Liverpool had beaten Palace 3-0, nothing would've changed.

This is the last great Premier League season in my opinion. 14/15 and 16/17 were good but football fell off after that. As much as 13/14 was filled with pain being a United fan lol, this season had everything. I remember at the tail end when it was a 3 horse race, the Slippy G moment happened and it looked like Chelsea was gonna win it. Only for Chelsea to lose to sunderland at the bridge and Palace shock Liverpool in that 3-3 draw. Nah this was truly the last great EPL season and this is coming from someone who’s watched the Premier League since 99
