This is the last great Premier League season in my opinion. 14/15 and 16/17 were good but football fell off after that. As much as 13/14 was filled with pain being a United fan lol, this season had everything. I remember at the tail end when it was a 3 horse race, the Slippy G moment happened and it looked like Chelsea was gonna win it. Only for Chelsea to lose to sunderland at the bridge and Palace shock Liverpool in that 3-3 draw. Nah this was truly the last great EPL season and this is coming from someone who’s watched the Premier League since 99

while i agree that a lot of hype is being built around for arteta, we are yet to win anything major. its easy to hype up arteta when hes doing well right now, but we gotta show the same when things are bad. that being said, arteta has taken arsenal a long way down the road now and changed the culture of the club internally. that wasnt easy. now were bearing fruit of what hes been doing for all this while, only that the tangible success is yet to be achieved. apart from that, id say im quite happy with how this season has panned out so far. CL Quarters (after 14 years) and still in the PL with a shout and about 10 games to go. as long as we dont do something horrible and shoot ourselves in the foot, ill still be content with the season. because, Progress. also, youre right in a way but also wrong in a way. good video though.

Liverpool then started going for goals against palace as they needed to make these goals up and then it crumbled. Also would have been nice to see the exact table going into the city Liverpool game

The thing that wasn't mentioned in the video is that Liverpool played crazy vs Palace because they wanted to chase this goal difference against the City. Everyone was talking about it at the moment. Yet they hugely underestimated their opponent and as a result we have what we have. Although this match would have been more significant if City lost some points in their 3 last games. So as it stands the title was lost in the match vs Chelsea.
