Great performance by Liverpool. Full of running, must be the fittest team in the WSL, well-coached. Chelsea a shambles, Millie Bright looked unfit and rusty, came back too soon.

Yeeessssss C’MON Liverpool, that was game of the season and was shades of 96 against Newcastle. Johnathan Pearce, Alistair Bruce Ball and Garry Taphouse all on comms on three different broadcasts. Just watched extended highlights now but listened to the game on the radio on the train and oh my lordie that was an incredible second half. From midway through that first half onwards we were absolutely incredible. Höbinger’s set pieces were luscious. That Leanne Kiernan goal was 👌 🔥 The winner from Bonner was special as was that world class save from Micah right at the end. Manchester United up next, let’s get the win and secure 4th place. YNWA 💪

@@aletapequena She does not need my praise, but the rest of what I said elsewhere was that she deserved more game time earlier this season, since she is a potential game changer. I said that in comments months back and that they might need her to get more experience for the later stages of Champions League. Oh well, I watched Barcelona every week, since the English players arrived, so I will have to hope Keira and Lucy get their winners medals again.

It was indeed quite a game. Chelsea failed to show the ruthlessness of champions in that first half-hour, when they should have been 2 or 3 in front. But Liverpool played brilliantly in the second half, showing energy and desire while the Chelsea players were all wilting. Thats been their problem all season - lacking that extra bit of desire in the final stages of every game and competition. A bit like Liverpool's men, FWIW. I wonder if you can call it a "Lame Duck Effect"?

Entertaining game. Surprised at how bad Chelsea was at marking on corners.

Everything started to go downhill since they were talking with arrogance this season they were going to win the quad. Lost the final of the Conti Cup against Arsenal, the semis of the FA Cup against Manchester United even United is having their worst season since Marc Skinner took charge, then lost the 2nd leg of UWCL semis against Barca and now Liverpool has started to bury their chances of another WSL.

Chelsea was leading but then they went to sleep early & LFC struck when Chelsea was having a nap...i dare say that Chelsea is a burn-out team, exhausted and most of all they seem to trun out of ideas. LFC was only playing for their pride but Chelsea are still in the run for the title but today loss was a heartache for them...MC is sure to be crown champion for 2024.

The funny thing about @chelseafcw loss is that their Downfall was in hindsight But they failed repeatedly to correct themselves. From tactical inconsistency, unsuitable lineups, decline in the mentality of the players and repeated poor performance from players would all go on to their Quadriple hopes to Nodrouple. It's a big shame. We move next season Up the chels 💙

Yep , this was to happen. Also there must be some division between the players ( diva attitudes?), I see at least 3 groups, nothing new but knowing that emotions are key... . M.Bright certainly not being fit , anybody could see that. And Cuthbert, oh I wish there were 11 of them in a team , what a drive, what a player she is.
