The reality is that all involved are complicit to some extent!
I am tired of being dealt with by those within the system in a manner that continually proves that they consider themselves above me.
I think it’s time for a whole bucket full of honest dialogue.

Spot on. We are tired of no communication and absolutely bad to no service from DA. I am seriously considering to never vote DA again.

One of the biggest aggravations is the obvious nature of what is going wrong and the seemingly, absolute lack of concern with the consequences
Leopard rd poles erected for street lights are erected into the trees. No cables or lights can be connected. Bloody idiots. Fed Up with the new DA councilor. Does he even live in the Area? Why is he not assisting our community. Our CPF do all the work and follow ups , reporting etc. Do we need the DA ?😮
Alan I agree with you completely! I was or perhaps am still an avid supporter of the DA, having worked with our previous cllr Mr Pieter Henning for many years it is with much disappointment and dissatisfaction that I peruse the many comments on many groups in and around your Helm community. I am at a loss at the apathy of the DA hierarchy????? I salute all you do for the community!

That’s the way it seems to be playing out.
As a resident in the area I am already gatvol with the situation and have been so for quite some time. It's now deteriorated to such an extent that there is absolutely no response from our elected councillor (on Telegram or WhatsApp). I also expressed my dissatisfaction during our last CPF meeting. While the total toy toy stance may not be the desired route for now I do envisage this will arise in due course and by that time it may be too late to save anything.

Hi Allan, I totally agree with you "ward 25 counselor is very useless for the simple fact that Leopard str is still without street lights after the 3rd email and not even mentioning the pot holes. I SUPPORT YOU 100%

I think the biggest problem is the lack of communication. We all understand that the municipality is broken. The system is broken. The entire thing is mismanaged and the people that are expected to do the work are for the most part, inept. However. It is not unreasonable to expect clear communication about the situation, and, given the position, I expect questions to be asked. Accountability should be fairly high on the agenda. Not ignorance and an assumption of status.
