Love the show I hope a Detroit style makes it on to this show. There is a deep heritage and competition in Detroit when it comes t pizzas.

Can we please bring Frank back for a new season? This guy is the kindest, sweetest dude, not to mention an awesome, deferential host. He never makes it about himself, he makes it about the restaurants and the people he interviews. This guy is a legend. I'm literally watching these videos YEARS later. More pizza show please.

I have been watching the pizza show since 2 years myself, to the point where my pizza consumption radically increased after I saw Frank hosting the show. To this day I watch the pizza show every time I order pizza at home

Love how his voice got all "good boy" when he was at Spago. He was saying "Even the coffee is good son!" but in such a respectful way. Took his hat off and everything.... Frank may be an every man's man. No frills, what you see is what you get, and still his manners are impeccable.

Italians still eat the peasant versions of their food. Pizza is still almost universally just a tomato base with a couple slices of fresh mozzarella and some basil leaves. It's nice, but it's insanely simple and gets old quick. I prefer the experimentation of the Americans when it come to Italian food. They took something good and made it better.

Arthur Have you even been to italy? While they do not make New York or Chicago style pizza for obvious reasons, you can get some simple and yet really good pizzas in most of Italy if you stay clear of the tourist traps

I'm starting to watch these just for Frank. He is so well articulated and easy to watch. I love him!

Well said, the best part of food and restaurant business is innovation, and u must innovate to stay relevant. Like look at the food scene today Giant over the top milkshakes, giant unconventional sandwiches, this is how restaurants build a brand, and build a client base. None of which would be possible without innovation. No one really looks for restaurants who make simple by the book dishes. The fad currently is over the top mom conventional dishes and that's the way it's been for years

Frank Pinello is a legend to me. He's such a great host and even more amazing for giving us all this AMAZING pizza knowledge. So amazing this episode dropped today, because I've been watching the Pizza Show episodes all day by chance. It's like the pizza planets have aligned for me.

I owe LA for launching my pizza career. From the east coast and lived there 11 years, got so sick of what they call pizza (along with hipsters like the dude at the start) that I started making my own for myself and regular folks.

I love this show! Speaking from and Italian and from Italy, among other things I love how convivial the pizza servings are in the US. We are used to a whole (medium size) pizza for the individual, instead it seems you guys serve a bigger pizza which is sliced and shared....I really like that

Anna May Italians don't accept any pizza unless it's a sauce base with four slices of mozzarella and paper thin crust. Oh and don't forget to cook the basil with the pizza as the Italians insist. *Whispers* even tho it's better put on after. Their pizza is just so simple and old fashioned, I mean we make the same pizzas here and we call it the margarita pizza. It's the standard but it's definitely not the best pizza.

Anna May how something is made is not subjective, humor is an example of something that is subjective but the structure of a food is not because it is finite.

I loved the Schubert’s Trout playing in the background as they had that beautiful moment touching glasses together. A nice touch of class. I do not think Schubert wrote a Smoked Salmon quintet but The Trout is close. 🍕😂❤️

Being an Anaheim dude, we have so many pizza places right over in Orange County, and California Pizza Kitchen at Anaheim GardenWalk is no exception.

Prime Pizza is incredible. I got it often at the Fairfax location, then moved near the Burbank location. Probably the best pizza in LA. La Monica's in Westwood is a great NYC style place too.

This show should have a season pass all year round, i think frank is an awesome front for any food show.
