What impressed me even more than the pizza was the no nonsense format of this show. Like wow. I feel like I've been living underwater my whole life and finally got to breathe some real air. He gets straight to the point, there wasn't a single line wasted, the transitions were short, they really trimmed the fat on this episode. I love it! I need this to be a popular film style. x3

Delaney, as a Queens boy I'm glad you made it to New Park. The one other place I would urge you to check out in Queens is Dani's, on Lefferts Blvd in Kew Gardens. It's legendary.. and there's always a line out the door. It's the "eat it at the train station" slice because you can sit by the LIRR station and watch trains go by while you're eating

Every now and then I like to watch the pizza and wing episodes back to back. It feeds a certain video craving of mine for some odd reason

This is some kind of comfort video for me. The new york pizza videos just make me feel something. They really make me want to move to NY.

This is such an awesome series. Love that Alex sets the rules, gives no-nonsense reviews and visits a ridiculous number of joints. Bonus points for the goofy intro songs and creative nicknames every episode. Best New York pizza compilation hands down. 👍

Yes one is a news company and the other is a legitimately long running food magazine company. Don't you think they would have a different presepctive? For example, if the average person was given the chance to eat the highest quality food, they would be blown away while a chef would be able to objectively critique it.

I was like “yay delaney” and when he said for the first store that he bought two slices I’m like “hmmm okay” and he’s like “my special quest, Claire saffitz” and I was like “AHHHH CLAIRE YESSSS!! :D” and as more of the ba chefs came in at other times I was like “YES ITS ALL COMING TOGETHER!” I feel content watching this episode

In flushing, queens, there is a pizza place called Vincenzo's. Such good pizza! The margarita pizza slice is by far the best one, and their garlic knots as well!

I just ate Scarr’s for the first time with my family the other night. We had to wait in line for 45 minutes. Was it worth it? Yes!

I'm not even a Sicilian fan, but my friends took me out to L&Bs when I was visiting a few months and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. Like I actually teared up seeing Alex hold up the square slice.

Oh my God I love Louie and Ernie’s. My favorite pizza shop every time I’m in the Bronx I go there.

One of the best pizza intros to NYC I've seen yet, and definitely I wanna hitt up Scarrs, Lennys Spumoni and much more but don't forget about LOMBARDIS in Little Italy Manhattan. Also some more Bronx spots especially off Arthur Ave. Great job mann. T E X A S

What does an "International Pizza Consultant" do exactly and how do I become one?

The are consultants hired by restaurant entrepreneurs who want to bring 'authentic' pizza to places that don't have a pizza tradition. Cities not on the East coast or countries like Korea, China, Dubai, etc. The consultant talks the entrepreneurs and tries to come up with recipes that fit the price-point, style, and taste of the restaurant owners. It's probably already a crowded field but like with any consulting you have to be an expert in the business for a number of years with a proven, profitable history, talent for meeting client expectations, and most importantly, finding said clients.
