You're mistaken, everyone who has gone up the soviet DD line would obviously have a dedicated Derski commander with a 18+ point full torp build.

my guess on the way to get this ship is it will be like the brisbane (?) where you needed to spend credits, FXP, coal, RPs, and community tokens. they are trying to drain everyone's resources that have played a long time, with zero consideration for any newer players that don't have the huge stockpiles, thus hoping to get the newbs to spend cash to buy into the game.

Even with the less HP, I'd still take Minsk or Leningrad out instead of this one.

Umh I think still its better then Minsk... I dont really enjoy Minsk but Leningrad... its bit fun since have nice guns then Minsk + I feels its tanky sometime , fast + I really enjoy the dark camou with the coin in the tunel. But this dd have 10 km torp compared 8 km leningrad too

MINSK is kind of a firing support DD, go sneak and fire and runaway. Torp is for last ditch weapon as always. I like its concept but I prefer choose a Leningrad.

This version of a Tashkent is a meme. You can reach 54.8 knots speed with the swift in silence commander skill and speed boost active.

I dunno, seems to me like you got really lucky in those games. Not that you are a bad player but I feel this is a good player making a bad ship look good rather than Tashkent 39 being at least decent

Fully agree, if an enemy gunboat dd have found him in either game I think result would have been very different. The gun boat build only managed about 27k damage from guns with PQ being a very good player.

This brings Trashkent to a whole new level.

I think I'd rather play the Błyskawica. You also have a long reload, but good alpha, fast torp reload and you still got some good speed.

All they had to do was remove smoke, and make the concealment much better. I still consider Blyskawica, the best all round T7 dd also lowest hp dpm at t7 besides Z31 lmao

Have you tried the Huron? I disliked it first, but after some games it is my best performing T7 ship. The torpedo power is bad, but the guns with heal, hydro and decent concealment mixed together make it a good ship.

There aren't enough premium russian DDs in the game. I would love to see a tier 10 version of the Neustrashimy.

A tier 10 Neustrashimy is coming, however it is Pan-Asian. It's called Lüshun.

Not to be that guy...but..I like the history of the Tashkent, but i just dont know if we need two versions of it in game. Im sure itll fair fine in game though.

how did you make your hud smaller? i know there is in settings but mine doesent look as small as yours, or do you have higher than 1080p moniter.

I build mine as Torpedo boat (since it has Reload Booster with 3x3 Torp tubes ISN'T it OBVIOUS?) and it works in Random Battles, sometimes TOP in team. How can Gunboat with only 3x single guns?

My first match did 150K damage and 3 dev strikes 😂 the speed and torps make her a good ambush striker.

It's just missing some Italian smoke :C

I hope its a sort of free ish ship, even then thisll be a port queen like the huron

The Tashkent was actually designed and built by the Italians for the Soviets IRL

This is one of those ships I am thinking you don't take risks in but might actually be pretty devastating when used to capitalize on opportunities. As a capital ship hunter it's actually setup pretty well - a BB without spotting support can be in some serious trouble against one of these.

Please Blyskawica video full gunboat build. I have 500 battles PR 2900 in this ship, in my opinion Blyskawica is best gunboat (900m/s shell speed) in tier 7 and best farmer from range. But someone says he is worst... :D ofc this "someone" have pr 900 in others dd :D ...

Not the best of ships Torps seem ok but the guns...you would get outgunned by a lot of things and if you uptier and encounter something like Akizuki or Cossack...you are dead

At first glance I think the same... But when I look at the speed and HP pool at tier 7 my opinion changes a bit. You have to be smart with this ship and stay within your limits especially when up tiered. Not a ship to take risks in but one to capitalize on opportunities with and I think it has the speed to make that possible. I actually want to go down the Russian DD line but working towards Grozovoi rather than Delny - a ship like this could have use as a commander trainer going that path. I am thinking building for concealment/speed is a must in this ship in order to go dark as quickly as possible and get out of Dodge rapidly when you are in trouble with this ship. The smoke is also a critical component for your escape plans with this ship - so much so I would say without it the ship would be nearly unplayable.

Why is this ship considered rare in Santa containers?

I can scarcely conceive of ship that promises more boredom and dull play.

This is a weird ship for WG because it is a downgrade premium from higher tier, which by itself is not new but the fact that it’s actually an older version of the actual ship💀💀

OK, I stopped listening to the fairy tale when at 0:39 I heard about great torpedoes and read "53-39 mod 4". I am tired of this nationalistic BS. NO SOVIET SURFACE SHIPS RECEIVED 53-39 TORPS BEFORE 1944. The first versions of 53-39 torpedo was only commissioned for the fleet in 1941. Serial production (more than few tens volume) begun in 1943 only. And yes, they were so sh*tty that only later, post-war "mods" (like this fictional "mod 4") were somehow usable. Before WW2 ended, Soviet submarines managed to use only 18-22 of those torpedoes, and did not hit anything with them. The "later mods", like 53-39PM were actually developed in ... 1949. Never went into use, because were superseeded by 53-51 model which was actually the finally somewhat working 53-39. 1951, hello?
