So this ship is a teams nightmare... it cant scout. It cant hunt dd ... it just takes up a spot and is for solo players.

Its a really odd duck for sure - I think she can collaborate and I've used it to push, but you must wait for the right moment.... And, in some battles that moment never comes.

This video absolutely convinced me to pick up this ship ASAP. I did it for 166k coal today morning (83 vouchers) which is the cost of the Flint in coal by the way. This ship is way funnier than the Flint, so for coal it is a good deal. For every other resource type it is robbery in my opinion. I had the Gorizia and the Hood, so I will do all the missions with these 3 ships. I will write a short briefing on the new TrashCan '39 later for you. Consider also the context of operations divisions where her torpedo firepower can be utilized optimally without constantly facing air, radar and submarine threats.

Always enjoy your reviews... My whole wows career is based on your informative videos... For Tashkent 39 I dont see it coming. As I always rush in front this ship for me is a gurantee for early (immediate) port visit.

Tashkent 39 maybe the most overpowered destroyer of its tier. I got 60K in damage and two kills on my first sail. I don't know why any content creator would talk negatively or bad about this ship?!?

Hey Anatoly, I really actually like the ship! I'll have to watch this video again to remember the details of what I said about it. What's crazy is despite it's mix of poor conceal and guns, it performs quite well for me! My win rate is about 8% better than my account win rate and my damage is blue on WOWS numbers over my 26 battles. It's got some pronounced weaknesses and some very good strengths in the form of its powerful torpedo armament. As far as its score - this is the lowest tier ship we've ever done a Hot Take rating for - so it's unclear how it'll stack up to other sevens right now. I think it's probably comparable to like-tier DDs.

I am still considering the Trashkan 39, lie no probably not just because the value is not there, its super overpriced, that´s the main issue and the all event is a cashgrab for newbies and whales.

Yeah, it's pretty spendy. If you're standing on a mountain of resources, sure go for it. ...but for players who would have to spend lots of dubs.... It's too costly for what it is.

I REALLY don't need a second Tashkent this bad.

They've gone token-crazy, for sure. Good call on the commander selection. I use him and the Znamenskys on my Soviet tech line DDs and he'd be great on this ship too.

'39 is powerful, but she also has also big weaknesses. This ship is balanced, not balans'd. 😅

Tashkent '39 only features is speed, HP and ability to torpspam 2-3 times per battle, but Leningrad would be better even with slow turrets, less HP and 1 less torpedo in salvo. Simply because she is smaller, less visible and have two more guns. Z-31 would be better even with less speed, slightly less HP and 1 less torpedo in salvo. Simply because she is smaller, less visible, have one more gun, have faster reloading torps, and have fcking Hydro on top. Mahan would be better even with less speed, less HP, relatively bad ballistics and less powerful torpedoes in salvo. Simply because she is smaller, less visible, have two more brrrt guns, have faster reloading torps and have fcking DFAA. For just torpedo spam Akatsuki would be better even without TRB, with less speed, less HP, slow turrets. Simply because she is smaller, less visible, have three more guns, have faster reloading torps. TrashCan '39 doesn't deserve 3 points in survivability and 4 in maneuverability, 2 and 3 maximum. Just speed, just HP, just slightly better torpedoes, without everything else, and the worse or almost worse than every other DD 7 in another. Big brick with speed. Paint it red and run just like crazy, throwing torpedoes in every direction.

Hey Andrei, That's for the detailed comment... I've got a few thoughts. Leningrad. Agreed. This is a stronger ship than Tashkent 39 in common battle situations. Z-31. Z-31 is a generally awful ship with decent guns. I'd rather play Tashkent '39, but I know some people are big fans of the Z-31. Mahan. Agreed. This is a stronger ship than Tashkent 39 in common battle situations. Akatsuki. Agreed. This is a stronger ship than Tashkent 39 in common battle situations. To be clear, Tashkent '39 didn't score well. I stand by the ratings I gave her. I haven't rated that many T7 destroyers, so it's hard to tell what the best score would be among the T7s.... But every other destroyer I have rated so far has scored 6-11 points better overall, and that's because they're more well rounded. This boat is odd, kind of fun, and certainly not the most influential ship at her class and tier. Think what you've stated here is absolutely correct for most players - I even said in the video, I'd almost always rather be in Leningrad in most situations.
