The biggest take away I got from making this video is that Jalen shooting 40% FG with the shots he takes is very impressive. Few young players would be able to hit the crazy shot attempts he likes to take. So the terrible shot selection is the problem! ALSO: Any mention of Net Rating in this video was misused. It was actually Net Rating WITH said player on court MINUS Net Rating WITHOUT said player on court.

I’m sorry, but Cade’s career is fine. Last season sucked because of an injury, but as a player, dude is so talented and we’ve seen it this season. Dude was hard carrying the team to not beat that losing record. It’s not his fault the Pistons FO and coaching staff are run by morons. Casual fans have to do better….

While Jalen is definitely the worse of the two as of the moment, I think having vets like Fred Van Vleet and Dillon Brooks would ultimately help him develop into a better player in the long run. His development was stunted by the Rockets' insistence on having him and Kevin Porter Jr at the same backcourt. He developed really bad habits that can be fixed now with vets on his side. Cade, on the other hand, can still take that superstar leap earlier than Green especially if the Detroit FO and Coaching staff situation changes.

Cade shows flashes of being a top 5 PG in the league, but with what he's working with means he gets really turnover prone. I would also say he has a lack of DAWG a lot of the time. Cade is effectively in year 2, playing with zero spacing, facing the other teams best defender every night where he also gets doubled and collapsed on due to no spacing… And still averaging 24-4-7 on 45 FG%. For a 22 year old with like 110 games played, idk what else do you want. You then call him irrelevant and not in the same class as Evan Mobley?? All because the players around him are awful? Like you acknowledge that he was fighting for his life, putting up positive +/- on a historically bad team, giving teams 30 a night, but some how we are just going to write that off because of his circumstance? FOH. Let Cade play on the Magic, Rockets, or Raptors and there is zero question who was the best in this class. Just ridiculous to acknowledge what he has done then just write it all off and say “it’s not going to cut it” … what would “cut it” then? MVP numbers at 22?

This is a weird polar situation lol. Cade is good but his team is ass. Jalen is ass but his team is decent. Both failing successfully I guess.

The pistons problem is not Cade. At all. Your really make yourself look stupid and invalidated when you say that. It doesn’t take a basketball genius to see that Troy weaver is the problem. He traded bagley livers and 2 first round picks for 2 old power forwards. And your putting it in cade? Find something else to make videos about

Lot of salty Detroit fans in the comments too blind to see that Cade is a just a decent player on a shitty team putting up numbers. He's no franchise cornerstone

Yeah, we probably feel that way because we watched him put up multiple 40 balls on good efficiency in December while getting absolutely swarmed with double and triple teams because he is playing with zero space. The list of players 22 and under who can do that is very, very short.

Cade being on a bad team may serve as an excuse for some, but another narrative is that Cade is on a bad team because he is bad at leading a team.
