Just purchased my Rolex 6694 Precision and love it, paid £1,700 and see eBay for £2.5k+. Looking to purchase a Rolex metal strap now 😎

I have pretty well the same watch and love it. Reliable, looks good, indestructible.

Wow seems larger than 34mm. Fantastic watch.

I bought one for 2100USD, I fixed the cracked bezel and the dial alignment issue as well as replaced all the gasket. Now it's my semi beater, love it.

Nice watch. Given the overwhelming demand as of now in 2021, it will even go higher I think. There is only one Rolex and it is the only brand we would want to own in this life time, so probably we gotta accept the price level.

Great job on this videos of the 1968 r6694 Rolex watch beautiful looking and simple to operated as well if I had the financial ability I would personally purchase one myself but I would purchase one with diamonds.

A folded link bracelet in good condition is very valuable. My folded bracelet literally disintegrated from wear, the links wore right through. The fact that the watch was worn in the surf and did hundreds of km in the pool suggests that an earlier bracelet replacement would have been prudent. My watch is an circa 1960's OP and today the watch wears a new old stock genuine Rolex five digit reference solid link Oyster, which is a vast improvement on the original folded Rolex bracelet. However, the folded bracelet is by far the more valuable.

Lovely watch. I have a similar 6494 from 1958 which has the 1215 movement.Unfortunately mine has had the dial, handset and date wheel replaced so not quite as charming as your fine example. Unfortunately the days of purchasing Oyster Dates for under 1000 Euro are long gone. I think you need to budget for between 1800-2500 Euro for a good original example like yours......perhaps even more. Thanks for posting and I will subscribe to see your future videos.

I found this video because a local store is selling 2 of these, both in $3000 USD... as others have said, prices just keep going up! No way I can get a nicer Rolex for that money.

I have the same hands on my oysterdate however mine are gold. You have a very nice watch.

Great review. Ive been interested on buying rolex precision, this past weeks, and I just saw one today on hand. Base on what i saw, I completely agree with your opinion about the thin links. It made the watch so light. It is much better to buy an aftermarket one for everyday use. In my opinion, with the selling price of the precision, it is not worth it. I know that it is one of the cheapest rolex you can get but you could get a better watch on other luxury brand with that price, or save more money to buy a different rolex instead. But this is just my opinion, if your really like this watch make sure to see them in person first.

U can find the watch manual helpful. To advance / retard the time lay the watch on its side towards the correct time.

With that being said, I suggest you to set an alert on the search « 18mm bracelet for Rolex » on eBay... that way you’ll surely be able to find one pretty quickly. Hope it helped!

Ebay is flooded with these watches anywhere from $1500/4000 im looking at picking one up another 1 here eventually had 1 before but sold it wasng serviced for years so wasnt really reliable and i wasnt paying 5gs to get it serviced when it wasnt worth more then a grand!!!!!

In the passing of 5 years, I paid $3K for a 1959 6694 ith rivet bracelet, serviced, 2 year guarantee...

Tritium se prononce trissium :) Très belle montre, la taille et les proportions sont parfaites, depuis que je porte des 34-37mm vintage, tout le reste me paraît grossier. Et à ce prix là, même à l'époque où tu l'as acheté, j'aurais pas hésité 30 secondes :) aujourd'hui je trouve les prix déconnant, même les Precision sont victimes de la spéculation.

Merci pour la précision! Effectivement, les tarifs actuels sont clairement déraisonnables. Je te rejoins également sur la taille, je pousse quant à moi jusqu’à 39mm (avec une exception pour les Seiko turtles, qui ont un petit quelque chose en plus à mes yeux), le reste me parait, tu as trouvé le mot juste, grossier.
