I have this habit of not listening to music while I’m driving and I drive for a living so I drive A LOT. The reason I’m sharing that is I listen to the school of greatness A LOT as well as the books that your guests write and recommend. My only challenge is that both are chalked full so much information that I’m constantly trying to take notes! It’s a great challenge to have though because it usually leads to me relistening when I have the ability to take notes. I pop in the comments only occasionally but it’s usually to reiterate how much of a blessing you videos are to my life and wellbeing! Thank you for chasing your calling and adding value to mine and so many peoples lives Lewis❣️

Only when we fight against our bad, do we grow stronger in our strengths our good.
I’ve had several counselors tell me that I shouldn’t try to over achieve and I would be better off if I lower my standards but I continue to strive for better and I’m much happier now.

Many, many counselors should not be counselors. I've run into too many truly mediocre and limiting, unaware "counselors". It's a knife edge to push forward and also square with your crap. A good counselor will guide you at least. Takes a lot of searching. Tim Fletcher's work is good as is IFS Dick Schwartz No Bad Parts.

Over the years I’ve had several friendships with people who are either psychologists, family counselors or in the social work field, and those I encountered were toxic and cause emotional and mental harm. Their family lives are a mess too. I’ve worked as a paralegal, so interviewing and assessing witnesses is a skill. If someone tells me they’re a counselor, I run.

I loved the part in the conversation about the ‘ripple effect’ of one person’s actions - (for instance, when Ed spoke of the person who turned his dad around -- flawed as that person may have been). How that one person’s humanity affected his dad and (indirectly) his family, himself, yourself, and even extending to the people in your audience through you and he talking about it. So true.

I have always overlooked Ed but in this time things are incredibly challenging for me and my business. Today though he has spoken to me, this is a great man.
Ed, your insecurity is probably your best asset..and you seem to have many. You have courage, and you have heart. Never forget; Courage is not the absence of fear, it is having the heart to keep going even when things scare you the most. It gives many of the rest of us hope and dreams too. Thank you.
Mr. Howes, thank you for creating 🙏 content packed with value and wisdom that is timeless and gives freedom to those trapped, stuck, captured by negative mindsets and limiting beliefs, influences. Great interview 👍 👏

Wow! I mean I am 45 and I did learn a lot , an exceptional man The problem is we have reached into living in a world where we do more than enough never nothing but we are still being judged of doing nothing Plus those entrepreneurs who have been building factories of stuff like food and else making tons of money on behalf of our youth and kid's well being mentally emotionally and physically etc are definitely not the ones who are going to make the change Let's hope they change their targets concepts ways so the money not only ends up stacked in their pockets leaving behind nothing but poverty and diseases Again I am not pointing fingers or accusing the successful people out there I am just being too optimistic now that I know there is a man like you who exists and is willing to take that first step towards change..

The Baha’i teachings say “… the faith of no man can be conditioned by anyone except himself.” 5) “Do not be content with showing friendship in words alone, let your heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross your path.” (Abdu'l-Baha, Paris Talks, p. 15)
I have always believed that the challenges I’ve had made me who I am today. I also believed that my struggle with anxiety and how I overcame it would allow me to help someone else with the same struggle. Unfortunately my daughter and nephew both have anxiety and I have tried to help both with no success. My empathy and advice are not received and it is frustrating because I know I can help them if they’d only listen. I don’t understand why I had this life experience if I can’t help the people I love the most overcome their struggles.

The fact that you understand and validate them would do more than you know.. Ive found while nurturing my niece (who ive raised) through struggles incl anxiety, that she has needed to grow and have her own experiences to move through to a stage where the healing occurs, and where things make sense to her relating to her life and her timing.. I just offer ongoing love, empathy, Validation and understanding. I offer her information constantly and she applies it when its relevent on her path and I do see over time the very positive impact I have. I hope this is helpful 💞🇦🇺🌻

I'd never heard of Ed. So glad I found this. I also had a huge realization that my own broken past is a huge gift in my ability to help others as a coach and I don't need to be ashamed of my pain and struggle. It's made me who I am. Great lesson. I'm realizing that I need to thank myself for showing up for me and that's how I build confidence. Great great lessons I am hugely grateful for this channel. I have always said that Lewis is an earth angel. He has such a gift and is a beautiful soul. Super grateful beyond words. ❤️ Blessings, love and light to everyone else working on themselves out there. Keep going and keep believing in YOU! 💕
