I guess in countries like that, if you define "cost of living" by things like electronics and video games, it probably can get kinda high. It's just restrictive to be a nerd outside of the USA because you're often paying import taxes and "global prices" for things often made by US companies. I often can't fathom the kinds of international prices people pay for many games. When I went to Japan, I found a copy of Persona 5 (a Japanese game) and it seemed like I'd pay far more in Yen than I would in dollars for it; and the game hadn't even come out recently.

Living in Turkey is enough to drive anyone crazy. It is so stressful and hopeless. imagine having to pay 1.500.000 (yes that's a million) dollars for a Honda Civic and 30.000 dollars for an iphone while earning ~9.000 a month. That's how it is like to live in Turkey. It drives you to give up on all your hopes and dreams as the future is hopeless. and you can't leave the country either because turkey's passport is useless and no other country gives you a visa. it's the kind of place that drives a person to wallow in his misery for all his life. this man chose to fill the gap with hatred which is honestly understandable.

This is just a genius at reverse psychology working his magic. He was waiting for the turning point where everyone would follow him instead of block him. He was waiting.. For you Scott. Deep inside.

You actually won too, not just the block but you won an actual argument to get the block against him. “Cold hard numbers, not much to argue” probably made him flip.

That's because the chart is complete BULLshit! The price of Dead by Daylight is 170 liras in Turkey. to put to perspective, if you had to pay 170$ dollars for DbD (just the base game no DLCs) would you buy it? give me a honest answer. also the chart Scott showed is complete baloney. imagine having to pay 1.500.000 (yes that's a million) dollars for a Honda Civic and 30.000 dollars for an iphone while earning ~9.000 a month. how would you like it then. That's how it is like to live in Turkey. In Turkey you have to take an almost lifetime worth of loan to buy a simple car. not a very "low cost living" at all.

I usually don't write comments but I am gonna write for anyone wondering: Dbd cost in Turkey x9 more expensive than the price in America. Gaming is a expensive hobby for Turkish people. So Borisky is right on that topic unfortunely.

You can’t outsmart a fool they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. However outstupiding a fool you’ll find to be an easy feat. They can’t handle their own medicine.
