Thank-you for the amazing footage of your trip to the Yukon. I'd honestly take your trip over Rhinebeck any day! Small, close-knit (😂) group of friends, rustic cabin, gorgeous forested surroundings and knitting-- sounds like the absolute perfect combination to me 🤗 Thanks for the inspiration as always and hope you and Dave are enjoying your vacation 💕

Hello to you Susanne in the south of Sweden! Happy Felix knitting. My Nutiden felt almost too precious to knit with, if that makes any sense, but the other thing I knit with it and LOVE is my Always Vest by Anna Daku: www.ravelry.com/projects/TheKnittyStew/always-vest I did modify it and made it less cropped - but was still able to make it with less than 3 plates.
Love your Felix pullover. Currently knitting Felix cardigan and thinking of doing the pullover. Thank you for tips to modify, especially the neckband!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!! I hope this gets to sit and await your return because the vacation is so lovely. Here's to some good travel knitting but lots of just being with the hubs and enjoying your trip together. I also think you are wise to be taking advantage of the travel afforded you by your career, your sobriety and your knitting connections. You spent your years caring for children and later may end up caring for spouse or parents or others. This is YOUR time and it's a joy to see you appreciating it. Best from Southern California.

Thank you so much for your kind message! We got home from our trip and both agreed that it was one of our BEST getaways ever.
I live the capital city in Canada, and even though I knit all the time and have taught many to knit, a daytime knitting group is elusive to me. I hate going out at night, especially in our winters has been impossible to find. It’s easy to find a group of beginners, but that is not stimulating for a seasoned knitter. 🤷♀️. I will be part of your sweater sisters instead and watch from afar. Thanks for your fun and honest podcast. Enjoy your holiday and stay well.

Great episode - I like the mods that you did to your hat to make it shorter. 👍🏻 Whitehorse is gorgeous!! So glad that you had a great time, and thank you for sharing footage of your trip. 😊 I get the "the yarn doesn't want to be this". Just tore out one sweater in progress, and one completed sweater, made in a yarn that I love but absolutely cannot wear next to my body skin. As a shawl, no problem, but as a pullover it was torture. Better to frog a project that you will never wear and use the yarn for something that you will wear. Take care, and enjoy your vacation with your husband!

Yes we get wise to that don’t we? I used to have such a hard time wrapping my head around frogging… now if I don’t like something in my gut and know it’s not going to be worn or make me happy I don’t hesitate and just start ripping it out!
