Hi from Rachel! I love this trend so much ❤ You picked such beautiful patterns to share for this video! I thought it might be worth sharing that for those who love the look of the Other Loops Soft Loop Sweater but not the sizing, Ozetta is working on the Clay sweater, which has a very similar texture and will be size inclusive!

Your husband is hilarious 😂😂😂😂-loved the banter! I really like the Salty Sweater and agree that it’d be difficult to see in darker colours. I really like the Terni Slipover- it’s the type of vibe of the Storm sweater but in a vest - and I wear mine so much. Loving these inspiration videos!

Currently working on the 05 tie side tank (it's on the back burner due to a testknit..) in a wool yarn for a nice textured vest. It's a ton of stitches but really easy to knit and beautiful 😍 I might have to make a summer version at some point too

Wanted to watch this video as I enjoy your take on knits and such, but, as seems to be the norm now, hawking products for other vendors is a turnoff for me. Sorry Kaci, a lot of KZreadrs seem to be following this trend. For me, the enjoyment of the content and offering support by subscribing is what is of interest, not trying to make sales for other companies. Lost me on this.

I understand advertising can be frustrating but as I get paid VERY VERY LITTLE by KZread I hope my viewers will understand if I choose to do 3 or 4 sponsored videos a year out of 56 weeks of videos a year I aim to release to the public who are able to watch them for free. Thank you for your support - i truly appreciate you for being here and don’t forget you can fast forward thru the sponsorship segment.
If the paid promotions related to fiber arts that would be another story We as the general public are being monetized to death then why do I pay extra for no ads

If it bothers you so much to leave a second comment about the same thing, perhaps you could look for a different channel that does no ads or no sponsorships. Kaci deserves to earn money for the extensive amount of work that goes into her wonderful videos. If you are not happy, maybe you would like to reconsider the channels you follow and not leave negative comments :)

I sent Kaci a msg thanking her for her content and spot on editing If anyone thinks based on her response that you can earn a living in this economy don't give up your day job Last time I looked this was a free country and we all have a right to our opinion including you.I am pointing out a trend that is troubling
@skeinsofdreamsknits

@@lynellerobertson2295 if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all. It's easy to 'voice your opinions' from behind you computer screen. It's a free country, so Kaci is free to do sponsors. Also, you clearly don't have an issue with large corporations doing ads? Are you sending them messages? :D
I love your podcasts The content and editing is spot on However I am disappointing that your are doing paid promotions Isn't it bad enough we get bomb barded by ytube commercials that you are faced to watch I pay extra for no ads and now you are inserting th that is a thumbs down for me
@YoungfolkKnits

Thank you so much for your continued support. I understand that ads are frustrating. I pay extra myself for KZread so I don’t have to watch them. However I get paid very very little by KZread ads and sometimes I need a bit more to help with my source of income. I try to very rarely do promotions. I turn down 98% of the emails I receive. But I do allow myself to do a small number each year. Feel free to fast forward. I am trying to figure out how to insert chapters today so you can skip to the parts you want to see. Thanks again for being here!

As much as I can relate to not enjoying ad interruptions (it’s why I also pay for KZread premium), everything you say you love about Kaci’s content (which I also LOVE) takes a lot of time, energy, and resources. It is free for folks to enjoy, but it is not free to produce. In order for creators to maintain the content folks enjoy, it has to make sense for them. I’m speaking from experience here as a fellow content creator, and I hope that this provides some insight into why a creator may choose to share sponsored content. And I always appreciate how carefully Kaci curates her sponsors. Just a ‘for what it’s worth’ here. ❤
