The KILLDOZER Rampage of 2004…

Ойын-сауық

Air Force veteran and Granby newcomer Marvin Heemeyer relocated to Granby, CO with dreams of creating a Muffler Shop chain. His plans were derailed, after logistical obstacles and fines found their way into Marv's mailbox. The 2 acre- Granby property Heemeyer purchased, was wanted by one of Granby's most successful family dynasties.. and after years of legal battles, Marvin Heemeyer lost the fight. The Granby good ole boys took a section of his land and ran him out of business.
But Marv was far from over.
Over the course of a year, Marvin Heemeyer modified his Komatsu D355A bulldozer into an indestructible machine.. He added armored plates, insulated with concrete, to create a tank like shell over the cab of the dozer.
On June 4th 2004, Marvin Heemeyer drove through the doors of his secret warehouse in the Killdozer, seeking revenge on all who wronged him.

That was the city liberals and probably the family dynasties too. They wanted to teach people a lesson and make sure nobody would ever remember what Marvin did. Because if they hadn't destroyed his Komatsu, that dozer likely would have ended up in a museum or some other place as a piece of that town's history. They are not too bright, because no matter whether Marvin's bulldozer still stands or not, the whole town of Granby and its future generations will always remember what happened that day. It would be a great idea to make June 4th a national holiday and call it 'Marvin Heemeyer Day', in celebration of his fight against the corrupt families and city officials.

For example his shop was never blocked from access, he was just driving to it using a shortcut through another private property. His sewage was... Well there was no sewage, he was shitting in a cement truck's drum and when it was full he pumped everything out into a creek and wasn't even fined for it. The cement company even offered him to connect to their sewage which would have been cheaper, he refused. He was just a stubborn asshole that went completely insane.

When he greedily upped it to $375k, they backed out & bought another adjacent piece. He got mad because he had screwed himself out of a huge profit & tried to stop them from legally building their business on their land. He lost cuz the concrete company were within their rights. Then, he made such a stink in town meetings that the town finally fined him for illegally dumping his sewage, which they had already ignored for 12 years while he had refused to hook up to the sewer lines. Also, the concrete plant didn't block public access to his muffler shop. It made it so he could no longer drive across that private property as a shortcut between his house & muffler shop, which were different properties. Lots more to the story that this post & all the martyr stories about this wingbat leave out or get wrong. He was just a sore loser with no coping skills

You're right. En Masse. But in the video they lie that Marvin was increasing the price of his property. This is part of the slander for which the Thompsons and Docheffs pay money. They are paying money for a smear campaign against a great hero.

His legend will never die and some of us still honor him today. He chose dying on his feet instead of living on his knees. He harmed no one and still got his reckoning and no one could stop him. It’s pure tragedy that he suffered that tyranny and died, but he died a badass and a hero. Long live Marv!

Legend? This guy will go down as one of the quicky stories on my youtube page. He's bat-shit crazy. Stop listening to the opinions and stay on the facts. He was only on his knees when he ate his own bullet and caved like the weak little man he turned out to be. Dying on his feet. What jackass would come up with that opinion after watching the d-bag hide in his metal bulldozer and shoot at total strangers because he was mad at a few of the people that lived in the town he chose to screw his life up in?

All us Americans have something to learn from his inability to let corrupt people get away with things. The world needs more justice, just like Marvin delivered back then. Rest In Peace Marvin, you’re an inspiration.

I had heard about this but had no idea about the backstory. Well done for your due diligence and bringing this to light. It is an abomination what the town and this family did to this poor guy. This family and the crooks that were in office should be held accountable for this man losing his life. He had nothing left. Seems like he was left with no resort.

This is not a new "truth" about his backstory. It is simply what you get when you completely omit everything else. I would strongly encourage you and everyone else to read up on this. It is not the hero story many seem to think it is.

The more I've researched the man, the less I sympathize with him. Don't meet your heros I guess.
