I agree with you in principle but bear in mind that AJ Miller isn't claiming to be the Jesus Christ that was described exactly in the Bible/Gospel stories. Yes, he says some of it is accurate but he also says there are a lot of things in the Bible that were said about Jesus that are false. He is basically claiming to be the historical Jesus that has come back in another body. I'm not a Christian believer myself but I accept that there was a historical Jesus who may have said and done some of the things the Bible claims but not everything. Now, to be clear, I'm not convinced AJ Miller is even the historical Jesus either but I'm just pointing out that this is what he is claiming, hence, he won't be like that Jesus you might believe in, presuming he is the historical Jesus somehow come back. he's more like Jesus the man, the faulty human being rather than the perfect, omnipotent divine Jesus of the Bible. I read your comments. I've never met him. I don't think he's Jesus. But he might be a prophet because his environmental predictions are now coming true about the east coast of Australia. And the raising oceans plus won't we look stupid if his predictions about the east coast going under and the Goldcoast being destroyed by raising floods. One sees a cult leader when he teaches something that doesn't relate to anything teached before. Every historic religious figure related to the metaphysics and dominant religious exegesis of their time and place, Jesus to Judaism, Buddha to the Vedas etc. None of these figures just came up with natural law themselves and explained the world from 0 based on a completely novel and isolated concept. Maybe you can find some kind of basic psychology in AJs teachings but they couldn't withstand centuries of debate and critical examination based on an established set of metaphysical laws. The Documentary was completely falsified by the interviewer. On the youtube channel of AJ Miller there are the original videos and there a completely different picture is shown. You can think of the Jesus Thing what you want, it is challenging, but everybody who listen honestly to what AJ Miller is saying find that he is a very nice person who promotes love and peace in a very founded way. By definition this is not a cult.
