Day 1 of this island survival adventure and my #1 priority is to get water.
If you were on this island how much water do you think you would need each day to stay hydrated? What would be your hydration strategy?
Follow the series to learn my techniques for hydration and more!
I mention my friend @LeoUrban in this video.

Sorry I haven’t replied to comments yet. I’m having trouble getting an internet connection out here plus my phone is about to die. I’ll get to comments tomorrow I promise. 👍💪

I don't know if it's heavier to survive 4 days on an island or edit 4 days of footage after the fact

I like how this is a realistic take in that you have some modern tools with you and a ~3 days worth of food.

The fact that the garbage in the oceans are on a deserted island is both pleasing and thought-provoking... Thanks for this awesome series.

Just a warning for folks walking on coastlines, do not get yourself trapped against the base of cliffs when the tide is coming in.

Nice format! Not so primitive, but simple. Taste and sense of adventure with some explanations, storytelling and great views. May be not so relaxing physically but mentally refreshing. Thx for good stuff, Chad! 🤩👍

I live in deep taiga, there is snow around me for seven months of the year. It's much easier to die from cold here than from dehydration, and I don't know why I'm watching survival on a tropical island. But damn.. This is so interesting! 😁

Hi Chad from southern New Zealand 🙋🥝 fun video and great points. Injury when you are on your own is a huge deal and you're totally right, you need to take your time and work carefully. Yeah the coconut water, its absolutely the best thing you can drink and has actually been used as a emergency saline replacement in the Solomon Islands because its pure from green coconuts and contains minerals the body needs in the tropics so im with you on that call, if you find green coconuts, get that coconut water into you. Dehydration is the worst. Amazing beach scores with the rope and net finds but it was cool seeing you make a cargo net too. Great video, awesome advice 🙋👍

Awesome adventure so far Chad, this is great... its like a mix of your usual style content and some other survival channels i watch... rugged survival with minimal gear, i cant wait to see what you build for a shelter, im sure its gonna be simple yet awesome. Man, i really wish i had someplace near me i could go setup a shelter in the middle of nowhere and get away from time to time...
