The House Filled With Owls... | Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners | Episode 14 | Filth

Ойын-сауық

WHO would live in this house?!
This series follows people who, by their own admission, cannot stop cleaning and carefully matches them with someone whose home is in dire need of a spring clean. Together these people with such contrasting compulsions will explore how their different behavior affects their lives.
Angie will be helping out 77-year-old widower Brian at his house in Kent which is also an owl sanctuary and home to 37 owls. Brian’s 20 year passion for wildlife has taken up all of his time and since his wife died, the housework has become even more neglected, resulting in four baby owls taking over the living room. Brian’s traditional view of cleaning being “woman’s work” is set to be challenged by the very modern Angie, if she can overcome her bird phobia first.

Being raised without learning how to clean isn't really an excuse to not do it, is it? My grandma passed away before grandpa and he was still able to keep his 8 bedroom house and a HUGE garden in perfect shape all on his own! And there's always the option of paying someone to come clean once a week or so, it doesn't cost much, saves you time, and keeps the place looking nice.

Everyone loves Brian but his comment on women... 🤢 "I'm no sexist but a woman knows how to make a home" Yeah right. Because those who know were TAUGHT. I'm a woman and I didn't know anything about cleaning, me and my husband both had to figure things out by ourselves.

I thought that too haha, The water would not be that dirty if she cleaned them twice a day - it's not like she has dogs running around. Brians house wasnt even that bad, if he had a cleaner for 2 hours a week he could easily manage his birds and his house.

The way they move their heads and just lock on you is so terrifying. Dogs are my spirit animals but owls scare me.
