Germs will always be around, somewhere, you can't possibly eliminate all of them 100% of the time forever. I'm sympathetic towards OCD sufferers but it is the truth.

The way both the ppl went about helping the others is going to result in a relapse of the hoarding.

The relationship between garrett and tom is refreshing from the point of view of how one person with depression cant clean and the other with OCD cant stop cleaning, their conversations show empathy and a willingness to understand each others mental health issues and holding space for the others struggles which are different than their own, as someone with depression who once had a roommate with undiagnosed OCD, i had to face a lot of aggression and unpleasentness from my roommate even when i wasnt anything as messy as garrett here, and finally had to move out of that place, its a breath of fresh air to see Tom being so soft with Garrett and at the end when Garret asked him how he would feel when he gets old and realises he missed out on making the happy memories with friends coming over to his home to enjoy because he feared being messy, and Tom agreeing with him. We need more people like Tom.

I like Hayley a lot, with her outfits that are the most bizarre when it comes to cleaning, but I worry for her health. Breathing in bleach fumes like she does will destroy her lungs.

I'm not sure why he's cleaning her home, she doesn't appear to be feeble, disabled, unwell.....she looks perfectly capable of doing it herself and keeping the dogs outside. If it's a rental I would call the landlord, I'm pretty certain there is a limit to how many pets one household can have. I think she may be a wee bit lazy??

British people and their carpets:D With so many dogs you aren't supposed to have a carpet, it's not worth it. If you have tiles or linoleum it's clean with couple of swoops. Brits.. fellas you don't need to have a carpet sometimes it's okay.
