It's nice to see these cleaners helping others. HOWEVER...breathing those bleach fumes is a cause of permanent lung damage! Haley needs to talk to her Dr.

The name of this show is the reason why soooo many people think OCD stands for obsessive cleaning disorder. The amount of times I hear people saying "I'm so OCD" just because they have a normal personality trait of liking things nice and clean. Yes OCD can be about cleaning for some people, but fear of germs and bacteria "genuine anxiety" are at the root of it. However, people with GENUINE OCD "obsessive compulsive disorder, can be obsessive and compulsive about many different things. I had a virus a couple years ago and it triggered psychological issues including sudden onset OCD . I obsessively had to check my door was locked and the plugs were off due to having intense and relentless intrusive thoughts about being robbed and the house catching fire. It would take me about half an hour just to leave the house as I would check, again.. and again ... And again, doubt my checking so I would need to check again. Then I would drive away and the intrusive thoughts would not let me rest until I gave in and drove back home and checked for the 50th time. Id then irritate my neighbours by getting them to look out the window or go and see if I shut my front door even though I went through at least a half hour ritual of checking the plugs were off and that id locked the door. I would not be able to focus on work as all I could think about was the house burning down or getting robbed and it would be my fault for not checking properly despite checking to an unbelievable amount. It was a nightmare and I'm so lucky that I healed from it after about 6 months. I also watched a documentary about other OCD sufferers and some of the things they had OCD about were bizarre but awful. - one woman had Intrusive thoughts when she saw a stranger walking down the street that then went out of sight, she would think she had somehow caused them harm. So because her thoughts told her she had caused them harm, she would have to follow them and check they were ok and make sure they were safe even though she logically knew she hadn't hurt them. Logic cannot be heard when you have OCD Another story is of a guy whose OCD made him believe he needed the toilet and was going to shit himself if he went outside, so, he would spend hours sat on the toilet because the intrusive and relentless thoughts convinced him continuously that he needed the toilet but not actually emptying his bowels. OCD is a pattern of relentless intrusive thoughts about something bad happening. When you suffer with OCD, it's near impossible to logically rationalize the reality because the intrusive thoughts and anxiety are extreme. In response to the anxiety and intrusive thoughts, the OCD sufferer will develop rituals/checking behaviours. I.e OCD sufferers that have intrusive thoughts and anxiety about germs and bacteria, may clean to extreme standards excessively. Some OCD sufferers that have intrusive thoughts about someone breaking in, will check for extreme long periods of time that everything is locked. I just want to share this to encourage people to stop saying you're OCD just because you enjoy cleaning and things in a particular place. This is normal human behaviour, not OCD! People that have genuine cleaning OCD are likely being driven by fear of contamination, germs, viruses, dirt. They have a lot of anxiety about cleanliness and perfection My heart goes out to anyone who suffers with genuine OCD as it robs so much of a person's life. 💖

My mother is an undiagnosed OCD personality. My parents are 83 and 84 now, so I know how it has effected me over my life. My mother has different behaviors than videos. Besides the cleaning rituals, my mother's obsessions are how the dishwasher had to be loaded, and we heard that every time it needed to be loaded until this last year. We had white couches and I heard what foods could not be eaten on the couch, including grape juice. My mother has been such a fanatic about grape juice being spilled, I am surprised she would buy it. My mother has also been a fanatic about not cleaning up water mess on the counter. My mother loses it over a water mess on the counter.

Wait a minute… I saw mossy mildew on the brick under Haley’s window outside, then when she was cleaning the toilet it looked like dust and grime on the pipes beside the toilet. That’s not the home of an OCD person! I use bleach regularly for cleaning. I’d never dress like Haley to scrub, especially the toilet. But I do love this show!

Dear Hailey ( Haily ) , I can understand that having a clean home to live in , is important . But cleaning up to 19 hrs a day , doesn't leave any time for your kids ??? 😢😢😢 That's 5 hours left , to make meals , bath them and to bed . ( Do you read bedtime stories at all ? ) I'm sad for you , that most likely your kids will not remember you at all in a nice way , ..... 😢😢😢 Like " Yes , we have a mum , but she was allways cleaning and never did anything with us ... " Things like going to play outside , go swimming , do some arts and crafts with them after school ? THAT CLEAN STERILE HOME THEY WILL NOT REMEMBER HAILEY DEAR ❤😢😢 And please remember , that you can't do their childhood over again , once they're teens . They'll go their own way with their friends , and prefer spending time with the mums of their friends , as they MAKE TIME FOR THEM ! When your kids move out , they won't know a thing about you , just you cleaning ... And more sad ; you won't know anything about them ... Their dreams and wishes , likes & dislikes . All you'll be consumed with is , if everything ( including your kids ) is / are clean ! 😢😢😢😢😢 I commend you on your cleanliness dear , but your OCD has taking it over the top . I wish you'd get / seek treatment for it , just to get a healthy balance between cleaning and the time you spend with your kids and husband ! Think a bit further ... if you don't give your husband the time of day , your love life will reduce to " ZERO " ! 👎👎👎😢😢😢 And he'll start looking elsewhere for what you're not sharing any longer . Intimacy . Just think , he"s lying in bed , wanting to spend quality time with you , but all he hears is the hoover going downstairs ! 👎👎👎 You're still " youngish " now , so there's still time to change Hailey . You don't want your hubby & kids to end up living with another woman , leaving you ALONE in a sterile home ! DO YOU ??? You want to be remembered for you being kind , fun and loving to be around . But Hailey pleeeeaassee reduce your chemical use for your lungs and your mouth but also for the UK environment , those mixed chemicals go into your waterways and kill animals and sea Plants . Sheteen you are sensible , intelligent and so lovely . Keep that open mind 🇦🇺🦘

Without shadow of a doubt that much exposure to bleach will be harming her in some way but i understand her having OCD myself

Thank you, Haley, about how you are about your looks. It answers one of my questions about my mother. I will turn down the volume about cleaning rituals because it reminds me too much about my childhood.

In 1 hour she bathes and feeds herself and her children, sustains a relationship gets dressed and soe the school rin twice a day. She alleges to spend 19 hours cleaning and 4 hours doing her makeup. I know ocd takes up your time- I have it. However I do not claim to spend 23 hours a day cleaning and doing my makeup and still expect people to believe in 1 hour I sleep and be a parent!

The bleach is a dangerous chemical and it is actually bad for you used to excess. I worry for the cat as this could actually poison the poor animal.

She has amazing control over her ocd

Again a repeat episode.... Good. Haley is nice and tries hard, but she needs help too. Two bottles of bleach every day? Unhealthy and even dangerous. Not just for her, but also for her family. Poor kids, it destroys their immunity and those chemicals are worse than a few bacteria. I wonder what actually she is cleaning so many hours every day? Everything must be so clean all the time. What else does she do in her life?

PS : Just something else struck me as you were talking Hailey , If you aren't satisfied with your make up , redoing it up til 5 hours a day , be4 going out , that leaves your 19 hours of cleaning a day ..... 5 + 19 = 24 That's a FULL day ! ????? WHERE DO THE COOKING AND SPENDING TIME WITH YOUR KIDS & HUSBAND COME IN TO IT ALL ??? And worst of all , NO TIME LEFT TO SLEEP ????? And 2 bottles of bleach and 2 pairs of gloves a day ? That's money wise well over £500 a YEAR ! And you'll have that many bleach fumes in your home , you're actually poisoning yourself , your kids & your husband slowly ! ( Sad , your kids can never have a pet either ! 😢😢😢 ) PLEASE REALISE THAT YOU'RE MENTALLY ILL DEAR ! NOT KIDDING 👎👎👎😢😢😢 I wish you'd WAKE UP ! ❤❤❤
