I think her home is charming. She has many beautiful things. Her love of animals let's me know she is kind hearted. I think she is adorable. Granted it is safer to have less stuff to clean and trip over as we age, maybe her daughter can helpwith that.

Dried Lentils and other seeds were found in the Pyramids from 2000+ years ago. They were able to plant the seeds and have them grow! Spices lose pungency with time, but can still be used.

I agree and expiration date codes only started around 1972 so before that people weren't so bloody concerned about it. I've had some spices like cloves for years and they are still viable but of course, not as strong so I just use twice as much and then buy more. About the only thing I'm careful with are medicines that can turn toxic but other than that, common sense usually dictates what I would put into my stomach. As far as bread is concerned, there are so many preservatives in some of it that I think it would never go bad. Best bet is to buy bread with NO preservatives and keep it in your refrigerator.

Idk how anyone could pass up an otter hug. They are beautiful. ❤ I’ve seen way worse homes, the cupboard out of date food was troubling, though.

the older lady was so sweet and her house has such character! but what in her head says its ok to break raw eggs on her floors for any reason?

I like to toss clutter, but I have some. I know people who can't toss much out, and have piles of papers and books. Then, there are truly ill hoarders. Cynthia gave it a good effort, and Daphne didn't fight too much. Tina, Al's wife

Cynthia is definitely my kind of woman. Very proper with a no nonsense attitude. She is very attractive, decent and to the point and I feel that she might be a very good friend to have. My sincere respect. 👏🏻🤍🪽

10:33 when she throw all her we decorations out I nearly cried really felt for that old women and the girl was so rude and annoying!

Daphne reminds me of Miss Mapp from Mapp and Lucia!

One thing is for sure, she shouldn’t have dogs. You don’t bath dogs too often because it’s bad for their skin. Why on earth she even has them is beyond me because dogs should be allowed to be dogs and not trophies.

Pity the bloody dogs. Get them rehomed.

I think the key to this video is balance. One lady has to much and one lady cleans more than the average person probably. I think we do not want to be hoarders and we do not need to be obsessive cleaners either. I find that both can bring stress. Key is balance or they say the happy medium. We live in a world with germs. WE can not eradicate all of them. Yet when it comes to saving everything that is not good either.

Just take a piece of tissue and pull the anther off the filament of stamen! Lol IYKYK

I've watched this before, and like the majority of hoarders, she does fill the space up again.

That, I don't understand at all, why somebody who is paranoid like that wants to have pets in their home at all!?

What did she even do? Oh washed a window and cleaned the fridge door seal, other than that she sat about watching others do the work.

I think hoarders kids either go one way, super clean… or they don’t see the issue as they’ve grown up that way. It could also be related to ADHD as well.

She’s not the doddery old dear she appears she’s been on lots of shows including come dine with me! She knows exactly what she’s doing ! 🙄

sorry but if i were on this show and were asking for help and got stuck with cynthia, i'd ask for someone who has empathy and can do something besides stand around watching me and being condescending. i promise, not all americans are this critical
