These shoes have revolutionised my life. I’m disabled, in a wheelchair and have been unable to get my own shoes on (let alone laced) for almost a year (I have a degenerative condition) and if I had to go out at any point in the day I would have to get my bottom half dressed and have one of my kids put my shoes on for me before they leave for school so you would have me sitting in bed with my shoes on at 7.30am for a 3pm appointment. I couldn’t get slippers on anymore to protect my feet around the house, essential when you can’t feel them! I now just feel so free, I don’t have to plan going out somewhere around if there would be somebody to put my shoes on. Not only are they amazing tool for independence but they also look good (I have the black with white detailing and gold on the soles), I can wear a fashionable shoe that fits fantastically and has given back some of my independence.
I work at a footlocker an often we have some customers (not all elderly but most of them) with either a disability or a dexterity problem who experience difficulty putting their sneakers on. This could be a game changer for so many of those people

I’m 48 and it’s kinda embarrassing for me to try shoes on in public to be honest. Most of the time I don’t tie the shoes I am trying on. I never tie my Jordans anyway so that no big deal but any other shoe...it can be a mess.

same here i have disability i need firm shoes like jordan and was recommended to wear shoes like that it was so hard to get even still now im not really big fan of jordan its sometimes kinda disappointing its not like i choose to be like that and cant understand ppl who trying so hard to get them and even resell them i respect that and ofcourse tying shoes is sometimes hard so i have like the sticker ones its easier but not for everyone else out there (sorry my english sucks)
Definitely would love to get these for my mom. She is disabled with only one arm, so these would help her out a ton!
Launching a shoe designed for people with disabilities to Nike Plus members is uh.....dumb.

1. Many of those members may have disabilities or dexterity issues, or know people who do. 2. They’re essentially being used as early adopter guinea pigs to test both the product and market appetite for it. Happens in many industries.

Hey Seth, Great review as always! Would love to see a durability test on how these hold up over time. Let's say a few weeks or months even
This brings brand new meaning to stepping on the back of someone's shoes accidentally
These are a game changer for me! I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. It’s hard to tie my shoes. I do have some other flyease shoes that I love. I have the Lebron Soldier 12s that are awesome. Want to get a pair of the Jordan 1 hyper royals. I will be trying to get a pair of these probably in the black color way.

Good luck copping one man! Although I doubt you will be able to get one because they are in high demand and sell for a lot. I do hope the luck is on the side of those people that would actually need it!

Those are actually really freaking cool. I seriously hope that becomes a big technology in shoes. Absolutely incredible, futuristic design
I think this is amazing and I hope that everyone who really needs them or want to try them get to purchase them. I’m fairly young but I have Lupus and some days these would be helpful when I’m in a lot of pain and my mobility is affected.
Had this for months…very durable. Fell in love with them the moment my foot got them on
Very well done video! Quick and concise and enjoyable to watch! Well made!
very interesting shoe design might pick one up myself. great video. amazing work.
Good job on this breakdown!!
I admire the creativity, I truly do.
LMAO "With the blacks out of the way"
Great review! I'm looking to pick up a pair for my mum who has issues with regular kicks.
Those kids who used to step on your heels would have a field day with this 😅
Seems like adding React to the front and back half of the midsole could really help make this a comfort lifestyle shoe. The Flyease Gos feel like a proof of concept.
Omg!!! I LOVE THESE!! I really hope they are made more readily available! I could see were this would be awesome for kids! And for myself! A mother of young kids & an infant 👶 my hands are always full!! So to be able to put a shoe on that’s not a flimsy flip flop w/out have to wake up my sleeping baby.... I just LOVe THESE!!!
I really hope that Nike is going to make them more available to the public over time! Especially other colorways. I'm waiting on your long term review Seth, I want to buy this shoe for my 80 year old grandpa who is starting to have trouble putting on shoes and lacing them up
I can just imagine someone stepping on my heel while walking and it just coming off.
Ok hear me out: Backdooring these...but for the elderly and disabled

Really happy with this video, your best so far seth. So many have skipped over the original purpose of this shoe and FlyEase innovation, or thought that this was the first time Nike had tried something like this. Thanks for going above and beyond the required level of research, and truly informing your viewers.
excited to see your update in the coming weeks. this design looks so cool but the only thing i'm worried about is the durability of the shoe
Thanks for this review! As a sneakerhead with a disability (MS) I've been looking forward to this one. However, I'm with you, I'm not digging the Gen 1 styling really, and sounds like there are a few kinks to workout. I'm on the fence. I hope this is just the beginning of the tech, and they adapt it to other silhouettes.

Wonderful video! The shoe is not for me but it is a step in the right direction for people with this need. Thanks!
Definitely need these. I'll probably wear them almost everyday and because I often have a lot of stress with school and stuff and am always heading somewhere these would be very quick to put on
I'm not going to lie I would've probably lost my balance trying to put my feet in over and over for the review. You have mad skills lol
Got these for my granny, she instantly adapted to them, put them on and off with just her spare foot against the back. Awesome.
Hyped on those tan mid APTHCRY socks tho. I love this idea, but definitely good to have a family of flyease products. I know people with Cerebral palsy who own flyease shoes, but this pair in particular wouldn't be very useful because they have more movement in their hands/arms than their legs. So I hope they continue to expand the flyease line for lots of use cases
My Dad suffers from Parkinsonian Gait so getting shoes on and off him are quite difficult since he can't really articulate his feet. I think that when he's finally allowed to go outside again, he'd enjoy having something like this.
I’ve been so hyped for this shoe! I’m not disabled or anything but it just sounds good to just put on and take off you shoes without the need for hands to get involved
I've just been following this shoe for my grandma. She is 95 and im trying to make her life a bit better by making sure she is comfortable. So if everything checks out, I'll definitely be getting her a pair.

Imagine walking around the town and someone accidentally steps at the back of your shoe and boom no shoes!! 😂
I can’t believe u didn’t jump into them would of been epic in the b roll missed op man
Love them!
such a sick, and unique shoe!
There are people who actually need these. I hope people realize that and don’t monopolize them and drive the price up
The next evolution of sneakers
Love the concept. But how long will that band last I mean one accidental cut will it render it? Also the part that moves looks like a magnet for lots of small stones and dirt to get in.🤔
Definitely gonna cop the black ones
Will the "living hinge" allow water to get inside your shoes if you step into a rain puddle or sand if you run on the beach? Over time, after some wear and tear, will the living hinge bend or break in half while you're running? I really like this idea, but since this shoe design is new, I'm gonna wait for the next version after Nike has worked out any kinks.
Everybody gangsta till someone steps on the back of your shoe

Underrated af. But I just thought about the way I used to take off my shoes as a kid when I watched this vid
Should I go a size down if I plan to wear these in summers with very thin or no socks? Cause will the shoe stretch when worn daily?!!
Hype for these!!!!!!! Just start the video but when do these drop?

the shoe looks really satisfying
So basically a slipper, wow, amazing
Wow . I’ve been wanting a shoe like this . My belly gets in the way of tying my laces so I just push and force my feet in lol big belly problems !
I'd be interested to know how long that hinge and the elastic band will last? How many on/off motions. I'm assuming Nike did the "IKEA" test.
Never been this early before!
Cool idea, nice to get a pair of house slippers.
I'm looking forward to these. I'm not disabled or anything but these look like the most ideal daily shoe for kicking about the house.
It’s so great that all these famous people get to unbox these shoes! I mean that’s what disabled people want right? They just want to see popular people wear them and not be able to buy them themselves. Not to mention the teens who are disabled and their families who can’t afford these shoes because we have to pay for things that non disabled kids never have to think about like wheelchair, meds, attorneys for IEP’s, modified clothing, doctors visits, specialty cab rides to and from doctor appts. I really hope you enjoy the shoes!
I do have a question for you Seth. As far as comfort and feel, do you think these are flat feet friendly!?
How do you personally feel about the colorway. All three of the colorways are not really doing it for me but I can't decide if I want the black to be safe or the crazy colors. Would you see yourself rocking this colorway?
Could you do another video about how these have held up since released
Man i need a video on those new fusion 4ds
Perfect 4 Grass cutting shoes 👟
the pun is killing me im sorry for laughing
I wonder if this shoe is also designed for people who have wide feet? I know their runners and the fly system are typically narrow. I want to buy my father-in-law a pair but he has wide feet. Any insight on this?
I have a chronic health condition that causes mobility issues and I really want to pick up a pair of these. Slightly tempted to let the early adopters work out the kinks first and help the price drop slightly.
Appreciate the info Seth. This is 100 times better than a pair of crocs or walking out in slides. No disrespect... It just provides coverage from weather and the elements. Similar to why people wear slip on vans. Can't be too nit picky... its a great design that I'm sure will improve.
Shoe looks great, I hope they make one with react
As an above knee amputee I can't explain how happy I am to have these come in I can only get the yellow an black ones wish I could get a high tip before I got shot I only wore hightops
These are so fire. I rly want some. i hope the people who need them most get them tho...
I'm doing my senior design project where I make a shoe design. I was inspired by this shoe

Definitely would like to try these but I would rather wait for a Black Pair, idk don’t really like other colorways
Good vid.
Can you do a review the Nike Reax mess grey...
I’ll be stepping on the heels of these hypebeasts
I just got a pair. I was super happy to get them ordered I have mild cerebral palsy and have difficulty tying shoes with laces. Only bad thing is the Support isn’t the best and runs a bit big in my opinion
I’m not the kinda guy that loves crazy colors, and I know people have been hating on this colorway, but I actually need this pair
Definitely want to get these for my dad! He can't bend to tie show laces, and most of the slip on shoes out there aren't great.
4:19 to 4:24 Mans got the "blacks outta the way" big ooooofffff
I have to try these on. I hate tying shoes. Total pita. These solve the struggle near instantly.
They are beatiful and great and all but.. are they durable the long run?
Has anyone had issues with the toes curling up with these shoes? I was thinking of buying them but the Nike site didn't have them in my size. I went to ebay but quickly noticed that every image of the shoes had the toe curling up so much due to the band that it totally changed the way the shoe looked. Some of the toes were pointing straight up! I'm wondering if this toe curl is noticeable while you're actually wearing them or only when they aren't on your feet.
This cross of Industrial Design and Sneakers has Seth Fowler written all over it
Notif gang
i treat all my shoes like this, also i hope that this tech catches on because i would love a pair of these at a reasonable price
I want this shoe so much but I would like to try it before buying and sadly I can't now cause of the lockdown :/ bad timing
ive been doing this for years with my shoes, but destroying the ankle support in the process 😞
These are a godsend for my elderly parents. But will have to wait for some toned-down colourways. The styling + colourways available right now are abit too out there for 70yrs old.
Ima buy them no mater i know how to tie laces or not
If they made these water proof they would be amazing for healthcare workers. With the nasty stuff that gets on our shoes it would be nice to never have to touch them taking them on or off.
