I have the black Go FlyEase with gum sole, been wearing them for over year and they are still my go to daily sneaker. Easy to wear, comfy and unique. Only issue is they are a bit to heavy. But thats a small foible. And no, the hinge hasn't failed after thousands upon thousands of on/offs, no rips or tears, and the elastic band hasn't stretched.
