Love that you guys intentionally find people that need the Flyease shoes and gift the pair to them!
Hey Guys! We've been super stoked to check out the Nike Go Flyease. Let us know what you think about how they turned out down below. And as always, thanks for watching, commenting, hitting that thumbs up button, sharing, you know.... algorithm stuff. Have a good one!

By any chance so you know who is selling at retail price? I would like to get one for my mother in law but cant find any below 300 😩😩😩
The spinning carousell thing is a nice new touch to showcase shoes👌🏼
It sucks that these aren’t as widely available as they should be. As much as I want a pair, I’m not gonna take it away from someone who really needs it

As a psychology major, I advocate for this kind of product. Something catered towards people with disability. It's not easy to live when your physical functioning is affected by conditions that could truly affect daily life. Thanks for reviewing this pair !

I had no idea how difficult it can be until I married a woman whose son has cerebral palsy. Here in the UK it is a little better for him than the U.S. would be, but not by much. As he travels to soccer matches as a photographer (amazing young man), the difficulties he often has to deal with just to get to where he is going can be absurd. One common experience -Most train stations are not wheelchair accessible on both sides of the platform, and when you pass through multiple train and subway stations a week, odds are at least one will have a broken lift (elevator). He is a great sport about the challenges, but it is very unfair what we as a society put people through

usually the weird products that you see on infomercials are REALLY for people with disabilities but they need to market it to the broader audience so they can make a return

Make it accessible for everyone? Why design and market a shoe designated for the disabled, and not for people that are abled!
It’s very rare that we see a true innovation in footwear as opposed to just a marketing gimmick. Kudos to Nike’s designers on these and wise, heartfelt words from Jodi and Chris 🙌🏼
I've heard a wider release is slated for the fall so hopefully there will be enough for everyone when that happens.
Guys: this is just so important. I love you for addressing and giving voice to these issues. You add to the world. Thank you. ❤️
They should really be making these a lot more available. These vulture resellers are snatching all the pairs and up charging those who actually need them😑
@gmpm

It’s maddening, especially since a lot of people could actually use these. The functionality works. My Aunty had a hip replacement and she gets a lot of wear and tear on the hip just bending over to slip her shoes on... these would really help a person like her. But people be buying and reselling, the average consumer never had a chance at getting their hands on ‘em ☹️

@@teng029 the way that they have their shoes made says a lot about the company’s philosophy.
Lovely gesture to pass the shoes on to someone who genuinely needs them. Kudos to you Chris.
man i loved these from the moment i saw them. Awesome concept, design and execution. Now we just need Nike to give us that Roshe level saturation on them.
I have been trying to get a pair of these for my grandpa who has Parkinson’s. These would make things so much easier for him (and my grandma). He tried the Air Max 90 Flyease but they were too narrow. Glad to hear these fit wide!
My dad was featured in the documentary you referenced. Glad you were inspired by the message of Crip Camp. You two always tackle the full range of topics when reviewing kicks!
I saw a vid on instagram of someone who badly needs this shoe saying they can't buy these because of bots/scalpers and it's just sad. Hopefully this will be fixed.
Kizik shoes. Bought pairs for my father and father-in-law. They both love just stepping in the shoe to put it on. I think this was what you were thinking of in the beginning of the video.
Such a humble guy giving back to the people that’s class act great job
Really appreciated this segment. My friend was able bodied for most of his life but became a paraplegic later in life. He is AMAZING! Plays basketball, Lax, skiing, cycling, EVERYTHING! I want to get him a pair of these so bad. We always joke that his shoes always stay so fresh!
What a great review! I absolutely love the concept of the shoe and how it turned out! I find it amazing that Nike and companies have been considering those with psychical disabilities, great step toward the future! 😁
I have loved this idea from the first moment that I heard about it. I hope that everyone, and I do mean everyone has access to them. My concern is that there will be people buying them up, trying to resell them at an obscene price, or just buying up the shoes, never wearing them and depriving someone who can actually use them of the opportunity to do so. Note to Nike, make enough pairs so that everyone can take advantage of the technology!
Much respect on the conscious effort to get these sneaks to folks who really need them.
I’m a wounded warrior and been trying to buy a pair and they are sold out everywhere. I hope they make more. Thank y’all for donating to a person in need. Love your videos like always. Nightwing!!
Thank you guys for another great piece, love the content!
I agree that these should be easily accessible yo anyone who would need/want this shoe. Kudos to giving the shoe away to someone who needs it. Much love and respect to weartesters. 🙌🏽
Awesom review as usual. I love the idea behind these shoes. I know youve probably seen this video by now, but Jimmy Fallon did a segment on the shoes on how he tried to pitch the idea to Nike and Nike was like, we've already been working on this for 10 years 😆. If you haven't seen that video I'll dm ya the link.
My wife lost her arm in a car accident last year. She struggles with shoes has a sneakerhead husband. I showed her the Flyease stuff and she wants them so bad. I did get her a pair of Air Force One flyease that she loves so much and can always get them on and off easy. She wears them so damn much they are wrecked in a few months lol.
You guys are an automatic like. Thanks for everything.
Love the concept
Got these in black and blue for my wife to make her life easier since she’s 6 months pregnant and after an hour of wearing the insole folded in the back causing discomfort. They didn’t do the best job with gluing the insole and now I have returned them. Looking forward to these becoming a regular release.
really like that horache style. always full support zenkicks tv bro.
I want these to be affordable for the people who need them. I want these to be obtainable for people who will use them or give them to someone in need. I really hope Nike does something about resellers. These fire. Edit: holy shit these were the exact words that you said and I wrote the original comment before I watched the vid. You the good guys Chris & Jodi, I'm proud and amazed by this community.
The discussion in the end 🙌🏼💯
so apparently the band is supportive/provides redundancy. What's Inside cut the band and the tension was still there and it didn't pop open when walking even without the band. The red rubber outsole is the key component for the entire process. It's a thing of beauty.
I want these shoes it'll be so good for nursing. Need more for people who actually need these too especially
I really hope I can get a pair of these. I've been dealing with heart failure for 15 years, and it would nice to have a shoe that is easy to put on when I'm having a rough day.
Really great content. Very purposeful
Love this video
I want these shoes so bad I have worn the same sandals for the past 3 years when I first came disabled. Nike needs to make more of these a lot of people need them.
I appreciate Mrs. Wing's doc recommendations they always hit! And for the record, I thought the orange years mention fit perfectly with the slime green reeboks lol. But ima definitely have to check out Crip Camp, thanks.
I'm so glad you are looking to give these to someone that needs it! It's disappointing that nike markets this as accessible but yet its not accessible for people with disabilities to actually purchase and use. Also, while the price is decent the percentage of people with disabilities that don't have the income to afford that price tag is high and most are living paycheck to paycheck. But that's just my opinion.
Great review. I hope Nike makes more colorways. I don’t need a shoe like that but I understand the idea and I would definitely try them out.
I saw a video of Jimmy Fallon about 3months ago stating that he gave Nike the idea. Love your show... From the Caribbean 🇹🇹 Trinidad and Tobago
Keep up the great work.
I think you're thinking about Olukai brand shoes for that collapsible heel
Can't wait for a performance shoe to have this function, would be wild.
👏🏼 for donating them after
You have to respect all of the designers that had their input with this model.
Was wondering when these were finally get reviewed by nightwing, well overdue👌
I know it's easy to blame resellers for killing the sneaker game. That's why I really appreciate you calling out the real problem-availability.
I don't know if someone has mentioned it or not (pretty sure they have) but the airmax 90 flyease also golds down like an accordion in the heel and it was designed by tinker himself.
Are they going to come out with a version of this that is regularly available
My dad has Parkinson’s and would benefit greatly from these. Hope they become more widely available.
I have end stage heart failure and these with a sock aide makes for serious game changers !!!!no more struggling to breathe to put on shoes and socks !!!! Where can I find a pair of these ..I need these ...so I can quit having to wear slides 24-7. And one major question...are they comfortable to wear every day ?
Is the sole fully water resistant? From the separation point?
Im definitely going to try, I have a lot of metal in my ankle from a motorbike accident and can't find a shoe that's easy on off and won't rub on my ankle screws and wire areas . These look like they could be it
Bro, you have gauges? Awesome! Awesome video as usual!
I think I saw a video of Jimmy Fallon throwing out the idea of this type of shoe them Nike picking it up. Just to say your videos have been very helpful and entertaining as an individual and as a couple. Thank you for the wonderful content as always!
Are you thinking about the air max 90 flyease model where the back collapses down and you slide your foot in? They're pretty much slippers with a neoprene/spandex type back for locking the foot in. Those seems pretty cool.
Looks like Nike heard and have made everyone’s wishes come true. Available here in Singapore in the Nike online store in multiple colourways for people to buy. I suspect they were made in smaller quantities initially as they were not sure of the public response to these but if these models remain popular Nike will have more reason to produce more stock.
Those step in shoes, are they the air max fly ease?
That's awesome man.
Do u happen to know when they come out these would be good for my son
You were thinking about the Zoom UNVRS. She had them made for a family member
be cool to see a huarache fly ease like this one. Same concept with the huarache silhouette
Olukai shoes have a heel that collapses down so you can slide in. They are kind of a beach shoe but great quality.
The best thing about these shoes is the fact they do not look weird. There’s no odd components and nothing makes it obvious these are ‘special’ shoes so the person with disabilities doesn’t feel like they get extra negative attention because they have something weird on their feet. They are just Nikes!
I think you’re thinking of Kizik shoes for that slide in shoe where you press the heel down. I was looking at those for my mother, since she’s having a harder time putting on her shoes. Would get these fly ease shoes for her, but they’re impossible to find, :(
I doubt this is correct but it sounds like the shoe you were looking for was the AirMax 90 flyease.?
Yes,, making them available to everyone would be great.. I thought I was a Nike plus member but, apparently not.. because, when I went to get them for the early release they were already gone.. Now I see them for resale at $500+..
I was on The List to be noticed to purchase these early for my Mother for her multiple disabilities with rheumatoid arthritis that has taken over her joints, and the ability for her to walk around, much less to do anything really or even put on her shoes that’s some thing that my dad has to do every day so many times how who knows how’s many times, and I wasn’t able to purchase them at all,
Will ther be wide sizes available?
Nike has the Air Max 90 version of the FlyEase (Collapsing heel) on sale.
IMO this is one of the biggest innovationts in history of shoes. Boost or air may be comfy or more exiting, but these are slight changes. I feel like this is the next big step, no hands.
I’ve been looking for a pair of these. My dad recently had a stroke and it’s been so hard to find a good pair of sneakers that he can put on himself the more he progresses. And what makes it worse is the resellers that are trying to profit off a sneaker that some people really need.
Wish these were more available. I want these just for going outside to let the dogs out but not gona take them until they’re sitting on shelfs
Ive been trying to find two pairs for my grandparents who both have back problems, but man they are so hard to find
I don't like some of the stuff that Nike does in terms of how some of their products are made. But I do give them 2 thumbs up for these flyease shoes. My father had 2 strokes; he never wore Nikes but I watched him try to tie his shoes loose enough so that he didn't have to untie and tie because his right hand wouldn't work properly. I hope everyone that really needs these can get them.
Wish these were more available - a part time single dad of 2, both of my knees are missing ligaments, and both my back and neck are each broken in half a dozen places so I often have problems bending over (and mostly stick with shoes I can slip in and out of) - could really use something like this (Nike need to do more of this) The other flyease models still require bending over, so don’t help when I’m having issues. I have a pair of BBs but they’re all just so prohibitively expensive
Good guy Chris; fucking love this channel
Love the shoes. It's super clean.
Would love to get a pair of these for my dad who had a stroke back in 2014
I love these
best duo since Pippen & Jordan
The other shoe with the flexible back you were looking for is the Air Max 90 Flyease
I have cerebral palsy, and thankfully I can put on regular shoes ok, but some days, you don't have the energy to lace up a pair of 1s... I want a pair of these. They better keep making these...
The Air Max 90 FlyEase sounds pretty close to what you Described Chris , it has a collapsible hell, although its not really like an accordion.
I got early access as well. I got the black color way. Love them so far. Makes my daily routine a little easier and a lot less painful! Wish the resellers would leave these alone but we all know that isn’t going to happen. They do fit true to size btw. I wear an 11 and they are darn near perfect. Only issues I have is sometimes I can really feel the back of the insole by my heal if that makes sense and most of the time when I take them off my foot comes out without the hinge working. I have to really think about how I am pulling my foot out to make the hinge work properly. Still love them though. Been wearing them everyday for over a week now.

Do you recommend going a size down? Do they Open up after a while?
are you referring to Mahabis? I remember they were heavily advertising on instagram for awhile.
Looks Iike a great idea. My 91 year old dad could benefit from these if they truly do as you say. He is a heart patient and other health issues. Definitely will keep checking on them.
I would love to obtain this shoe. I suffer from Sickle Cell Anemia which results in poor circulation in my legs, that have unfortunately caused me to have ulcers on the inside and outside of my ankles. Now i have to wear bandages on my feet. These bandages has prohibited me from wearing 90% of my shoes. Im so tired of flip flops so please let me know where I can purchase this shoe.
I think the other shoe that you tried to search is the nike basketball shoe that collapses on the heel the nike zoom air unvrs
But as always lov the vids👍🏻
The accordion Shoe I think is from a brand called kizik.

Ya i saw them on the ad too on youtube. Good looking out. But they mad expensive too on amazon.
I'm a disabled vet with a spinal cord injury. I've been trying to get these shoes forever I've even contacted Nike several time with no luck. I go in for another surgery next week and won't be able to use my left arm for a month. I could really use these shoes. Its a shame Nike isn't doing anything extra to make sure the people that need these shoes get them.
Nightwing is the GOAT ! Bless him 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Kudos to Nike a shoe for all types of people especially for the disabilities and it looks dope!
You’re talking about the air max 90 flyease right?
I think the shoe that compress the heel is the flyease airmax 90
I'm not a sticker head, my fashion style leans more towards functionality. as someone who never unties their laces I like to just be able to kick my shoes off and easily put them back on without crushing the hill. the best innovation for feet since shoes. 👍
Are these comfortable?
There is other Flyease air max where the heal collapses too.
