The GTI Has More PROBLEMS Than I Thought...

Well I wish this was easier said than done, today I tore down into Carla, my MK6 GTI to try and decipher some issues I've been having, well it wasn't the best time finding some hidden issues...

GTI’s got to love them... My 2010 with now 98,000 miles... Replaced both water pumps, cooling hoses, coolant reservoir, time chain tensioner, timing guides, timing chain, transmission clutch, fuel injectors, fuel filter, low pressure fuel pump, fuel pump module, intake manifold, main seal, battery, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, ignition coils... Now it’s not taking on 1st gear.. I always baby the car, this cars can be money pits because of so many point of failure that come from factory.. Most things listed can fail as soon as 30,000 miles...

Typical GTI money pit, similar happened to me and my GTI was stock. I really don't know why people buy these super shit cars? There's so many more reliable cars to modify and tune. You forgot PCV valve in your list BTW.

shes my first...MK6 GTI with 108,000km.. shes slowly going on me and it is breaking my heart but i can guarantee that i will NEVER drive anything else, looking at the 2022 R..

How did u make the boost leak detector?? Like the white part u connected?
I had put coolant in the radiator and it was gushing out from on the bottom of it could it be the hose or the actual plastic that holds the coolant. It wasn't leaking from where the radiator to actually is but the plastic container that holds the coolant was leaking from the bottom

LOL I was wondering that too. I just sent them my pulls and they wrote back saying, "Oh yea you're running well with the default tune..." So i was like... -_-

Why wouldnt you take the car back to the shop that stripped the bolt and have them replace it for free?

Till now is have problem 🤬 with this car. Sensor, turbo, oil leak, etc etc. Hate this car from now
