did you have anything else done to the car before tune? like exhaust or downpipe? or even intake.. low key love the sound and am thinking of getting cobb

with the ots maps i didn’t feel a difference but i saw how much quicker it got up to speed

So man I have a 2013 gti dsg with a cts cold air intake . Would I just be able to go stage 1 And send it or do I need that Cobb drop in filter? And can I go stage 1 then worry about dsg tune after or do I have to have dsg tune on before stage 1 thanks.

Quick question, my AP is coming today, and I'm just curious, but I see you didn't use a battery charger? With my car on and engine not running I'm sitting at 12.1V and my battery is fairly new. So, would this suffice, or should I get a charger?

I'd feel better with your car sitting at 12.5v as that's what the ECU needs

why does it say SERVICE NOW on your dash after you start the car??

What aftermarket parts do you have? The dsg farts sounds loud for a stage 1.

Even before this video my car has always been straight piped. That’s why the farts are louder. But now I have a 3 inch down pipe and mid pipe. I uploaded a video on that alo

Cobb removed the stage 2 map...ive asked so many people to please send me the map but nothing

I have a stage 1+. Just A fyi, your mpg will dramatically reduce.

bud you cant just drive it a mile down the road not get out of second third gear and call that a test run you actually have to take it somewhere and stretch the cars legs out to feel the difference not in a residential area lol. i have nothing but intake and with dsg and i can see a massive difference!

Does the Cobb tune the dsg to as well as the motor?

Hey Sidi, May I ask why you had to have your engine rebuilt? And also, how much did it cost you to have it rebuilt? By this are you referring to the timing chain/tensioner failure? Thanks

Hey man! I had to get it rebuilt because the timing chain jumped a couple times and caused damage to the valves in the engine. It cost me about $2100 for the rebuild. The shop I went to are experts on German vehicles

You can just go on google and type in “vw gti mk 6 stage 1 tune” and its one of the first results that pop up on the top. They are roughly $610

You need Cobb ap to go thru other tuners I wouldn’t get a tune from stratified unless you want to chirp 2nd on a gt3076 🤣

You need a down pipe to utilise the full potential of stage 2

I had oil in the car. The wire from the sensor was actually torn so I had to get it rewired

Not all GTIs come with the digital radio or steering wheel buttons. I don’t have them either in mine. I’m guessing they were all options from the factory
