Bro do u have dogbone mod? Apparently that helps stabilize engine rotation under acceleration, thus substantially reducing wheel spin. Love your videos I’m from Chicago and getting a GTI.

Do you have a dogbone mount on your GTI? How’s the wheel hop on stage 1?

Does that ots stage one require a dsg tune you think? Or are you just doing that for your stage 2 plans?

Ralph Roman none on the knock monitor, I will know more accurately when I start data logging and working with a protuner

Thinking about grabbing a 2021 gti se very soon. When getting harassed about buying extended warranty in the finance office, is it fair to tell them that don't even bother because I'll be tuning the car anyways?

@@HumbleGarage I'm running a similar set up on my 2017 GTI, what wheels did you go with? I lost 10 pounds of unsprung weight at each corner and that by itself is a noticeable difference!

So the Cobb stage 1 tune is better than the MAperformance stage 1 tune? Just got my accessport yesterday still gotta get my free MAperformance tune

i wonder this as well, seems weird. I know that CO motorsports compared a cobb OTS tune to EQT tune and the EQT blew it away.

NEVER USE THE COBB OTS TUNES seriously almost destroyed my motor and definitely did some minor damage to my turbo so much detonation it blew the electrode on one of my spark plugs clean off get yourself an eqt stage 1 tune and call it a day love the ap but never use the tunes that it comes with

And Cobb OTS tunes jack the throttle mapping to the moon with response. Stage 1 numbers all likely the same but it feels much faster because your 50% throttle is WOT haha.

Dude wheel spin it’s not good at all... it’s because you have still stock wheels which are 25 lb each and also Oem exhaust ...I completely removed wheel spin ( less traction/power) with lighter rims and a nice Borla cat-back🤙🏻🤙🏻 15lb lighter the Oem muffler!

I weighed my stock wheels w/o tires of course 25.8lbs. I put enkie TS-V on reduced the wheel weight by 7lbs. each (18.8 lbs.)
