This is the first time I've ever looked at draperies and considered them art. These are so beautiful and so well suited to their environment that they go beyond the word "drapes". Thank you for sharing all your hard work.

I just love watching these people! They have such dry humor and are so well suited for each other! All of their hard work making their beautiful home a work of art and just all theirs! I watch all of their fellow chateau friends and they all put a little light and love out into the world! We all so very much need as much as we can get! Thank you so very much!

Carole I know you mentioned that the floor is darker than you hoped but looking at this picture...It is absolutely perfect! It ties the darker gold from the curtains all together. Everything is working it's way out to an amazing design. Love everything about this room!

I love the floors being slightly darker. I have a feeling overtime they will lighten up because the seal will penetrate deeper in the wood and dry. Slightly darker floor makes the room look rich. It’s breathtaking. You need to throw a party but don’t let anybody go in there! Lol. 🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂

@@shelleyplemons1362 Agree, it's beautiful. I am suprized they did not put another coat of that protector for the floor. It will be even more gorgious and easier to maintain and clean. Now the look of the floor is like a treatment is missing.

The draperies are the perfect finishing touch with beautiful details. The grand salon is exquisite. I love the floor and it’s color and shine. The plasterwork, gilding and everything else has come together I think better than how it was when it was brand new. I hope you have many years of enjoyment in it. xx

One word: WOW! This grand salon is actually “the Royal Salon” fit for a queen and king! Wow, superb! Just gorgeous. Your pooling curtains are stunning. I love the combination of colours and textures. Everything looks so beautiful: all the variation in the floor, the gold leaf, the faux marbling on the baseboards. The gold curtain tie backs, the fireplace, the wall paper panels all work so well together. Can't wait to see the rest of the furniture appear. Magnificent, simply stunning! Can't wait to see everything in place, furniture etc. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL ❣ I commend you for such lovely, hard work. 👏 Have you ever considered perhaps in stages or at the completion of all of the work, doing an open house and perhaps charging a nominal fee for people to come & see what you have done, thus recouping some of your cost🤔 I couldn't do it for certain, but I'm sure your local neighbors or close followers would love to see your beautiful work. Perhaps you could have a picture hanging somewhere of what it looked like before, so they could appreciate more the work that has been done. Again, congratulations on your wonderful hard work!!

Beautiful Salon, Carole! Tons of work, but so worth it. Adrian is brilliant with wood and carpentry. That room would cost you $150,000 in the states. Your drapes alone would be $25,000.00 - $30,000.00. Lovely. Congratulations.

It so absolutely lovely! That hard work is finally paying off.

Adrian and Carole, in a word... Wow! Carole, the widow treatments are so pretty. The wallpaper was a perfect choice, so beautiful. The gilding is the right amount of gold and the perfect glisten for the room. The cloth inside the cabinet did look like a perfect match with the curtain material. Adrian, the floor from hell has been transformed with a golden glow. You fussing with details really paid off. You put the puzzle back together again. I'm anxious to see how you deal with carpet in the final staging. Bravo, to a truly dynamic duo!🏆

The room is stunning! When you have your inaugural party, have everyone dress in period costumes with a string quartet to dance to the Minuet.

The Grand Salon looks outstanding , the floor looks great the colour is in tone with the rest of it . Curtains done now to dress that room . Wow .

looks great and i think is better than the original color and wallpaper that was there in the beginning as its more subtly and the gold really adds something to the room . i am sure a real good carpet that is not to dark would show up very well against the floor . probably the room you have done with its original chandelier and fire place is my favorite so far on you tube as it just is very French in very good way .
