She was such a talent. Betty White complimented Rue on her ability to "take the character into Orbit, which is where Betty never would have taken her". The series was beautifully written & brilliantly acted.

Rue was an amazing person

How real and relaxed the atmosphere was on the eighties. The Golden Girls were the best. I still watch them today. Never get bored of this series. Love from Belgium 🇧🇪✌️🍀

Never ever seen this before. That made me laugh. Love The Golden Girls but also loved Rustie. Her laugh is so infectious. You can't watch her and not laugh. All the interplay between everyone when she was making the cake was the funniest bit.

I love Rue , she´s my favorite Golden Girl :) It´s also cool that she was already absorving the british accent when she was among the brits lol

WOW! What a lot of fun. I haven't seen this clip before. I love Rue McClanahan of course! But I kind of like this Rusty Lee too. She a beautiful woman. And if she can cook? Nothing but a winner!

With her mild Oklahoman accent, and after playing the Texan Aunt on Mama’s family it really didn’t take a stroke of genius to know she was better suited to Blanche, although she was great as a suburban New Yorker on Maude. Wonderful that she’s still with us vía KZread and syndication of tv shows.

I think it was so successful because it brought hope to everyone who was on the brink of their golden years. Golden years can bring lots of fun and joy. These 4 ladies emphasized on that every week! I sure miss them.

they were both awkward and stilted. Rue could run rings around them. Rusty would have been a far better interviewer.

Rue had such a wonderful face! Beautiful but with so much character unlike the botoxed horrors we see on telly these days!

I loved Golden Girls, and Rue as actress, but i stopt watching this program (good morning Briton) be-cause i saw what they did to Lady Sandra, the singer from the 80s heavy rude to her with no real reason, even cut it short in a nasty way, know they have edited there interview with Lady Sandra, to cut out and hide who they actually are disgusting nest of a program

2 hosts boring with no charisma Better suitable working as librarians

Betty white should’ve been there not rue as the laughter and jokes would’ve been epic between her and rusty
